Used Coil Standby Time... odd question?

If you are using a coil for a juice and you want to change to another flavor while switching coils, how long can the coil you used sit on the shelf before you need to use it again or trash it?

I have a tank that has a rebuild deck and premade coils (Delta II) and I want to switch between the two but don't want the coil I take out to rust or tarnish or anything...

I've left juice in clearos for 6 months and they were fine when I went back to them. Kanthal develops an oxidation ('rust') layer quickly on the surface when used that will protect it from further oxidation. I would not worry about it.
