Used stacked 18350s in Vamo, now 18650 won't work?

Hey there vapers!
I have a Vamo V6 that I bought about a week ago. I purchased 2 Efest 18350s (Button Top) and 1 Efest 18650 (Flat Top) with it. I never felt the need to stack the 18350 batteries, but when I left to get my hair done today, I realized I had forgot to charge my 18650, so I just went ahead and stacked the 18350s before I left. They were a bit of a tighter squeeze than having just then18650 in... But that could also be due to the fact that they are button top and my 18650 is flat top. Anyway, I charged the 18650 when I got home and just went to put it in my Vamo and it won't even turn on. At first I thought something might be wrong with the device, but it came on and worked just fine when I put the 2 18650s back in. Does anyone have any idea what I could do about this? I wonder if maybe the stacked 18350s pushed that pin up a little too high or something? If that is the case, I won't know what to do because I'm not very good about tinkering with gadgets. I would be scared to try to do something and harm the device. Do you think buying a button top 18650 would work? I have several mods but this was my first mod that takes external batteries so I don't have a bunch laying around to experiment with. Basically, I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else... If so, how did you resolve it? And do you think a button top 18650 instead of a flat top would be enough to reach the pin? Thank you in advance :)

Well, I feel pretty dumb. I figured that was probably the problem but wasn't sure how to reach it because the tube under the main part doesn't screw off but I was able to barely reach it with tweezers and pull it down and the battery is working just fine now. I'm so glad I have nice people like you guys to help me with my ridiculous questions :) The sad part is I'm not even a noobie... Just new with external batteries.

Many of the mods that are stacked capable need a "reset" if going from stacked to single. The chip "remembers" the higher voltage of series (stacked) batteries, and needs to be cleared of that before they can work properly with the lower voltage of a single one.

It's generally done by removing all batteries and holding the fire button for a couple seconds.
