the general consensus is that the mini nautilus is the best in its class for vapers who buy off the shelf ready made gear. I'd suggest a variable voltage/wattage battery if you are looking for more from your tank, its the next step up and will give you a more satisfying vape by allowing you to change power settings

sorry if its a silly question but y do I wont to know the resistance of the atomizer?
You could get into sub ohming that is vaping on something like an RDA at below 1.0 ohms. That's one reason to want to know about resistance/ohms of the atty.
The Eleaf Istick is comparable to the MPV2 . Also Reo Grands are a good reason to learn about resistance, since they can't check it like the MPV2 and eleaf can.
I'm with Susan. Get an MVP! Tough, reliable and the battery lasts a couple days.
I'm using an MVP2 with a Nautilus Mini and I think it's working great (though I really don't have anything to compare to). Really good vapor and flavor. I'm on my third day on the charge out of the box, probably about 8ml of juice so far. I am very satisfied with it, great build quality, comfortable to hold, probably not as big as you might think from pictures,and the vv vw is great for dialing in different juices and what is comfortable for a throat hit and inhale.
Oh and since I started on Thursday I haven't even thought about lighting up, all I can think about is vaping!

Being able to measure the coil resistance will help determine if your coil is going bad. Coils typically increase in resistance as they are used. I believe the BVC Nautilus coils are available in 1.6 and 1.8 ohms. As they age via use, the resistance can increase to over 2.0 ohm and affect your vaping experience negatively. You can also use an ohm reader to see if you have a short in your coil.
Should you consider to build your own coils from Kanthal wire, you'll need an ohm reader, so almost all regulated mods have a built-in ohm reader. Just understand that most regulated mods will not fire a coil less than 1.2 ohms due to their protection circuitry.
Different resistances perform differently. Probably most important if you are using the vv mode. Also you can make sure the atomizer is the correct resistance that you want.
