Hi everyone,

I use a 1.5 ohm LR 510 atomizer for dripping on my KGO and I am worried that it might be too low a resistance. I posted a topic in the "ask the veterans" section about something else and after mentioning my setup someone said that 1.5 ohm is too low for a KGO since it tops out at 4.2 V when the battery is fully charged. I really like this set up and it has been the only thing keeping me off cigarettes so what do you guys think about this? Should I try and switch to a higher resistance like 1.8 ohm or 2.0 ohm? Or maybe upgrade to a different PV? I use mainly VG or a high VG content liquids if that makes any difference. The atomizers I use are mainly from Backwoods Brew (i think theirs might be 1.6 ohms) and Cisco 1.5 ohm 510 atomizers. I just can't do cartomizer's or clearomizers for too long because I don't like what they do to the flavor. I am relatively new to this so I don't even know if I drip correctly and I know the atomizer gets dry often because I don't drip again until I get a pretty rough burnt hit. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some advice about this.
Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am indeed very pleased with this setup, been off analogues for just over a month with no real cravings. I guess I was just worried about batteries exploding if it is too stressed and all that scary stuff I heard about, or somehow the hotter vapor damaging my throat over long term. I definitely need to get a better feel of when to drip it just takes some practice.
What are the differences in the 510 and 901 attys by the way? I have tried a 306 LR but I just didn't like it that much because it seems like I either flood it or get burnt taste so I think the 510s are more easy going. Will a 901 fit my KGO?

I don't think 1.5 ohms is going to stress your battery too much, but it will definitely taste burnt more quickly.
I believe the usual recommendation is that if you are going down as low as 1.5 ohms that you need at least a 400mah battery.

You might want to pick up a 2.0 ohm atomizer just for fun, but you don't need to.
