Using a cartomizer with a de-wicked 510 atty on my ego

does anyone have any experience with this? i de-wicked my atty cause they eventually burnt and gave me an awful taste. dripping seems great right now...but i'd like to know if using a cartridge on it would still work. thanks.

you can't be using an atomizer and a cartomizer at the same time -- do you mean an atty and a carTRIDGE?

I assume when you de-wicked you also removed the bridge and in that case i do not think you could use a cart again as there will be nothing to carry the juice between the cart filler and the coil.

actually, i left the bridge and mesh on. found a video that shows how to take just the wick out.

I believe you will still have problems because there is nothing to wick the juice from the cart to the coil.

I'd just buy some more attys.................you can never have too many attys!!!

some of the non Joye attys I've got that were just regular 510 attys (not the official Joye ones) didn't even have wicks -- I don't really notice any difference -- in fact, I actually sometimes take the wick out from under the bridge on my official Joye attys if all the strands get too gunked up -- works fine for me

plus, even if you HAD taken the bridge out, you could still use it with a drip tip (did it with one of mine) -- there's a video on youtube about how to do it without accidentally tearing up the wiring on your atty -- just put in 501 remove bridge or something

great! yeah cause i really hate the taste of burnt wick. and it doesn't seem all that healthy since it's made of some type of poly material
