Two possible issues:
  1. Depending on the coil's resistance, a mod may or may not be able to provide its max wattage.
  2. Assuming the mod will provide its max wattage, whether it is safe to do so will depend on your batteries. How many batteries does it have, what batteries are you using and how old are they?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
is there any reason I shouldn't use my mod (Kanger Kbox 60 watt) at full power?

The more you push electronics, the more heat that's generated by the components on the PCB. Heat degrades these parts and will shorten their life. Mainstream chinese mods will degrade and die faster from this heat degradation since they are made with cheaper components than, say, DNA boards.
