Hi just your friendly noob here, finished reading the 6 part series in the library, very educational, but didn't see any examples that look like my setup. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Also, this place is HUGE, so being new please excuse my ignorance. I have no experience with this forum format. Been poking around for a few days, it's getting better.

Not sure what a b&m is but I got it at a local smoke shop. It's been getting me by for a few weeks, $20 got me a setup and charger. Bought a second one for backup. Clean it w iso alcohol and forced air after two tanks. (2.0ml)

Yeah, B&M stands for "Brick & Mortar," or local vape shop, if you will. I haven't heard of Voodoo, had to Google it. It looks likes a branded setup on the lines of an "ego-threaded" battery with a clearomizer on top. Other brands that make that style are Joyetech, Innokin, KangerTech, and Vision. Sounds like it's working for you, and you're cleaning it well. Some here wouldn't recommend isopropyl alcohol (most say use vodka or similar). However, I use iso w/ no problem (for wiping down, I do not soak w/ it).

It does look like the tanks are "disposable," meaning you replace the whole thing periodically? Is that right? That's a drawback to such a style, the expense of replacement. Some of the brands I mentioned have a slightly higher "start-up" price, but with only the atomizer coil needing replacing (rather than the whole tank), the price for that part is much less. But if the Voodoo works for ya, I say ROCK it. And if you're looking for new shiny things, we can definitely inspire you in that department, too ;).

Welcome to ECF! You couldn't have found a nicer, smarter, funnier bunch of folks to learn from and share your experience.
