Hello all. I recently received a drip tip for my e-cig and I'm not getting much vapor but I am indeed getting throat hit. Would it be because I'm using 100% 36 mg vg? My e-cig is also a joye 510.
Using drip tip, not getting much vapor.

I think you do generally get less flavor with vg base than pg base... You also tend to go through periods where your taste buds seem to die for awhile. It's happened to me twice so far but once was because I wasn't drinking enough.
Edit: sorry I'm a bit tired and I just realized I read that wrong. If you're using vg from everything I've read you should be getting MORE vapor not less. I find I don't get as much of a pull of drip tips so I just quit using mine. Maybe I just do it wrong. It'll take someone with more knowledge than I have to help you with this one but I'm sure someone will come along and help you out.

I also read that with 100% VG your supposed to get more vapor reason why I was confused when exhaling haha. Reason why I vape 100% VG is cause I get an allergic reaction to PG, even @ 10%. I've seen videos where people with my model and drip tips producing alot of vapor so I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or it's the liquid cause I've tried multiple attys.
How much are you dripping? Are you getting a gurggling sound when you take a pull? You may be flooding it or not putting enough in. Dripping is an art in itself. Takes some practice to get it right.
It might be that your draw is too hard. Try taking long, slow draws. Your atomizer might need some time to be broken in, too.
I've done my draw that way also too. It may be because the atty needs breaking in because I just got it about a week ago.
A week should be plenty of time for the atty to be broken in. I suggest blowing out the atty, putting it on a freshly charged battery and trying again.
I read this and thought floodiing too. Dripping does take a little practice.
Just attempted it. Getting more of a harsh throat hit and vapor production is the same haha.
Sounds like you may need to either clean your atty, or try a new one. If it's harsh, you probably need to add more liquid. I'd try adding one drop at a time, and see if it helps. I know that mine only takes two drops, unless it's a fresh atty. Then you'd need more.
A regular joye510? What kind of atty? Standard or low resistance? 306 or 510? Have you de-wicked it?? I've found de-wicking to be really, really important when dripping... The atty in my avatar is de-wicked (it's also a 306). Make yours look like that. There are 2 wicks... one lives under the metal bridge (remove) and one runs directly through the coils (leave this one alone!)

Regular joye 510 with standard atty 510. I haven't de-wicked it. I heard its better but I'm afraid I'll ruin my atty.
Just de-wicked it. Still same result
I used to when I had an auto battery but I use a manual now.
