While you're waiting on your vapemail........you might want to check out a few e juice sites that sell samples, you know, check out a few different flavors (Moon Mountain, Seduce juice, Alice in Vapeland), maybe eyeball that Kanger Pro tank 2 some more, it's sooooo pretty!

I seriously need to stay away from you. LOL The Moon Mountain sounds nice. hehehe

I got some Radiator Pluid and made the mistake of putting it in a poly carbonate tank. Killed in 10mins. I have since put it in pyrex with no issues.

I would like to go with glass, not only because of the tank cracking issue, but because of leeching BPA's. I'm already scooping out a new rig. Blahhhhhhh. :2cool:

Ha, I can definitely relate to your coming to the conclusion that you just like to smoke. That's me too. I smoked for 27 years, quit in 2004 (cold turkey), then started up again in 2011 (why, why, WHY?! I thought I could have "just one"--didn't work!). I knew I should quit again, and I knew I could since I'd quit for 7 years, but to be honest, I didn't really WANT to quit. Then my friend introduced me to vaping and I was able to quit the analogs again. Haven't looked back since! Good luck, and welcome to ECF! I don't post much here, but I come here to "research" a LOT! This place is a fount of knowledge!

Thanks Skatoulaki. I'm getting close to the evil 3 month mark (I'm actually a few weeks shy of the 3 months, unlike what I said in my original post). I know that "just one" feeling too well. My mother, a non-smoker, is the one who convinced me to try eCigs again. She knows nothing about it, but we're hoping this is the solution. I'm expecting my first delivery of gear tomorrow. Getting excited.

Has Virgin Vapors confirmed that what you ordered might crack a tank?

I just got word from Kitty. She stated "We haven't had any reports of the Orange Creamsicle cracking any plastic tanks. I think the creamy component balances out the acidity of the orange in this flavor. Just be sure to shake the bottle vigorously before filling your device. If by chance you do encounter a problem, please let us know!"

So this is super good news, although I'm still looking into glass tanks for the future.

The nicotine is supposedly out of your system by then, but the mind still plays tricks on you and draws you back in. I resigned myself to being a lifelong smoker. Then I tried my first e-cigarette and knew there was a better way. :toast:

Ain't that the truth. A smoker is up against so many things when they try to quit. This last time I had serious issues with bloating. I almost started again, just to get rid of it. I never experience this extreme bloating and I now have stretch marks because of it - it was that bad.

Anyway, I have a good feeling about vaping.

I quit smoking analogs after 30 years and numerous times of quitting, once for three years even...all it took was a major stressful episode and that went out the window. I was one of those people that instantly reached for the pack if I got stressed out. So far it's been a little over a year and I'm determined to stay off analogs this time. The morning smoker's hack and the smell were both major reasons to quit. I still love my hit of nicotine and that's why I'm going the e-cig route. Menthol is my main flavor but I'm having lots of fun with the fruit and vanilla flavors, too. You're going to have some hits and misses along the way, figuring out the system that works for you, but stick with it, I think you'll be much healthier and happier in the long run. I'm going with several types already, the short ones like blu and smoker friendly for work or going shopping so I can sneak a puff here and there in public then I just ordered the Halo Triton for my system to enjoy at home while watching movies or working on the computer. I think you're going to find as time goes on that you may want to have several options available to keep you on track with quitting analogs. It's worth it to spend the money on a few choices when you do the math on how much money was wasted smoking analogs in the first place and how outrageous the prices are now. Good luck!

...snipsnip... In all my journeys, I've come to the conclusion I just like to smoke.
The same thought has crossed my mind many times back when i smoked or tried to quit, I used to love smoking. After finding the right liquids to vape though I'm blown away, it's much more enjoyable than regular cigarettes ever were :D.
Welcome! Join us! I believe you will be of the same opinion if you give it a fair try :).

Good luck on remaining smoke free! Soon buying new mods is all that you will think about, atleast that's what happened to me. It's much more rewarding to know you're putting money into something you can hold on to as opposed to buying something just to light it on fire and watch it burn away and have nothing to show for your hard earned money except a pile of ash.
