I just got some ego clearomizers & I have inferno batteries. Do I need to remove the o ring on the battery to make the tank fit properly? When I screw it on it doesn't seem like it goes all the way down & it's very tight. But I can't tell if it's because it's for an ego & I'm using an Inferno or if it's because of the o ring.

Any help or advice please. ty

Ok so I don't get how to make these work. I put the tank on the battery but when I try to use it I can't get anything to come through. It's like it's blocked. I tried it with the o ring off & it's still the same. Do I need to use some sort of adapter if using it with the inferno battery or is there something else I should do? I'm not experienced with any sort of tanks except the tankomizer from Volcano which I'm not a fan of. Looking for something different & I would really like these to work. The clearomizer is Ego clearvision. Any help would be appreciated. ty

Wow Zealous sorry no one could give you any advice. It sounds like somone forgot the air holes in the cartos. Do you have more than one? Remove the carto from the battery and blow through the battery end of the carto..... If air flows out through the mouthpiece end then sadly it may not work on your specific batts as they are now. If no air flows then you may have a carto that has no airholes drilled around the perimeter of the threaded portion. If air flows without the battery attached you should try removing the ring from the battery and see if thats your issue. Theres all the pointers I would have for you. Good Luck I hope you find the problem. Pleas let us know what you find. It may help somone else later.

Thanks so much for your response. I was really wondering if I missed somethingl. I have already tried it with the o ring off & I can't get anything. But when I have it off the battery it draws as it should. It seems like maybe it needs an extender of some sort for this battery. It's an Ego & my battery's a Volcano Inferno so I thought they'd go together. Maybe not though without some sort of adapter/extender. Is there such a thing?

I bought ego stardusts to go with my inferno batts to replace the tanko system from inferno. Yes, you need an adapter unless you are using the CE5. The only drawback to this is the adapter pushes down the insode of the battery keeping it from charging so you have to kinda pop them back up with a paperclip or something. it also makes them look a little funny. I still love this set up as I no longer have bad tasting vape that leaks everywhere.
