I have to admit that I'm a tad surprised you'd specifically address me, Michelle, with this question.

The three recent threads I most remember interacting with you in recently were:

Burning cartomizer battings, juice consumption, and pre-vaporization/incomplete vaporization ("rocks")

So now you want to take a cartomizer designed for ~3 watts and cram substantially in excess [fresh charge] of 8 watts through them? More power to you [pun intended] - but next thread, I get to point and laugh... ;)

My advice: Pin the manufacturer of your device down on specifically what cartomizer at what resistance and with what "vaping style" they're designed for. Then adhere solely to that. When experiencing problems, stick to their forum area and give them hell about their device, leaving the cartomizer choice/vendor entirely out of it.

[Note to the casual observer: don't ask for my opinion unless you want it... ;) ]

Adrenylann I asked you because you seem very knowledgeable in this field. I wanted to ask in another thread but didn't want to "thread jack" it and I thought you would be on to see it at the time. Sorry I should have just PM-ed you.
