Has anyone done this before? I have this really nice bottle of "Havana" 7 year old Cuban rum, and I would love to have this taste in my eCig. Has anyone mixed alcohol with e-liquid before for flavoring with success? And if so, are there any neutral tasting e-liquids, or any specific tobacco flavors that would go well with rum?

Another warning : If the liquor is over 100 proof it IS flammable.

Vaporizing flammable liquid could = *boom*.

Let's just take the safe route and avoid this, hmm?

Terraphon makes a good point--if you are going to cut with alcohol the highest you should go is the 80 proof and Vodka at this proof has been used with sucess by many here with mixing. Sugar is a true atomizer killer as it carmelizes--what a mess!!! Sun

Sounds safest to sip it along with, just like having an analog and a drink.

Might be interesting if some of these were eliquid flavors, though. I could picture wanting to try chambord, bailey or mojito flavors. Umm, on second thought, maybe I'd rather drink the mojito instead :)

Seamist--LorAnn makes Champagne--good for special occasions!!! Not to bad at all--Sun:)

I realize that, however, standard Rum, Vodka, Whiskey, etc are all 80 proof. If they are any more then that they have to be labeled as such.

Sun Vaporer: Thanks for that info about mixing with vodka, at least now I know that it can at least be done. I'm not that concerned about ruining the atomizer thoughas I was planning on doing this with the "Smoking Everywhere" c-cig that I got on ebay before finding out how crappy it was. I'd be interested in trying that champagne flavor though.

MAD: I know they are out there, my friend bought some rum flavored e-liquid, and I had the chance to try it. It didn't really taste like rum that much though. And the hints of flavor that did resemble rum resembled cheap rum, whereas this Havana rum I have is the "Grey Goose" of rums for me, and tastes so much better then Bacardi or any other average rums out there, it's a major difference.

Over here, we have shops that sell items for making your own wine (and other alcoholic beverages). They have a decent list of 'liquor-flavors' (among others). Not all those suppliers will sell to end-users, but part of them do.

I'm pretty sure you will have comparable shops? (Most can be found under 'make your own wine'-tags)
