picked up a regular provari ( i love big toys) satin black along with the extended cap. the v2 version sorry

I almost got the regular, but I got a really cheap lava tube kit (25.00). And for out and about/work it is just too big for me. The battery life on the regular made it really tempting.

Thanks. I thought that maybe it ws just me being impatient. It sucks that the tracking system isn't better, I really want my pv and I want it NOW! I keep checking the tracking, thinking that I can sneak home at lunch and grab and charge the batteries up at lunch so the waiting time isn't so long I know, stupid eh?

I did the same thing when I got my Provari two days ago. I went home at lunch to get the package, took it back to work and put the batts on the charger.

Silly kids, and your flimflam instant gratification. back in my day, there was no instant gratification. If you went to a restaurant and ordered a hamburger, the chef would find his rifle, go outside, look for a cow, kill it and make the patty then get back a cook it. Took about 3 days. Back in my day in order to get to said restaurant we had to WALK FIFTEEN MILES IN THE SNOW DURING THE DEAD OF WINTER. Just to wait 3 days for the burger!!!

As a former employee as well as a spouse, daughter in-law, and grand daughter of present and retired USPS employee's I am DISGUSTED with the USPS service these days. ALL the closures and cut backs have slowed priority from 2-3 day delivery to your guess is as good as mine delivery. I had a package shipped out Monday but didn't actually make it in the mail stream until Tuesday because of the holiday. It was shipped from Indiana, I live in KC, it should have been here in 1-2 days it STILL isn't here, at last scan it was in UT. The expected delivery WAS yesterday, then it was changed to today but yep it was then sent to UT instead!!
As far as foreign packages. There is no way to track foreign packages ones they leave US soil because when it leaves US Soil it also leaves US hands and is then in the hands of what ever country it's sent to and in THEIR mail stream... UNLESS it was shipped express then it's shipped through FedEx.

No because it is no longer their package but in Canada's hands.
Yeah, I was wondering about that... does the USPS even track packages after they cross the Canadian border? I'd think at that point it'd be completely out of their hands.

Once they hit Canada we're supposed to be able to use the USPS tracking number in Canada Post. So far it doesn't say that it has left the US, but I'm not sure if it would. I've tried searching it at Canada Post and nothing comes up. I'm not used to tracking with this type of system. At work we use DHL, UPS etc and we can track from start to finish.
