Sometimes I have to wonder about the US Postal Service.

My bestecig.com package was delivered to a place called Grace Chemical. Luckily for me the person who received it called me and I went there to pick it up. (On a side note, the guy had the same last name as mine. Turns out his great grandfather is my husband's uncle. Crazy, huh?)

Anyway, my first package from China came last week and tracking on USPS says that they left a card in my mailbox and they are holding for pick-up.

I wish the USPS would get their act together because according to their tracking, I've not received either of my packages.

Happy vaping,

I paid almost 11.00 to send an Easter package from Pgh. to DC. The package never showed up there. When I called to inquire about it, they asked if I had paid for Delivery Confirmation....no, well there's really nothing they can do for me then. I CAN call my daughter in DC and have her call the PO down there (it's DC for God sake, there are probably 5 PO's). I really don't understand when I pay almost 11.00 to send a package, I should be required to pay an additional fee to make sure the package gets there???? Isn't that their job? And why should I or my daughter have to call PO's to see if they have the package? I paid for it to be delivered, they lost it and I have to try and track it down???

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.......

Trust me, I feel your pain.

I'm out 130 bucks cause USPS delivered to the wrong address. Not much i can do about it..No insurance so i loose. The 2 vendors cant help me because tracking says its been delivered. Glad someone was nice enough to call you...not so much in my case. I've been ordering from china this way a signature is needed...sadly some of the vendors on this board have been loosing out on my money.

I don't know if it would help, but did you ask for proof of delivery?

I think a lot of that though depends on your area. They are fairly fast here, but other places I've lived its been a lot slower and it doesn't seem to necissarily connect to rual vs. urban. HOWEVER. Despite them being slow, I have to say UPS has NEVER lost a package on me. USPS has. Better late than never.

too bad the Post Office motto is "Better never than late"

Since the economy sucks, I only work 4 days a week for now. On Monday's I am usually sitting on the couch with my notebook, right by the front window. Every monday when the mail carrier comes, she is on her cell phone (with her bluetooth ear piece). Since she is on that phone every Monday, I'm going to assume that she is talking on that blasted thing every day. I wouldn't doubt that she has a couple back -up ear pieces.

She can't possibly be paying attention to the mail she is delivering and she certainly doesn't want to stop her mouth long enough to ring someone's doorbell to have them sign for a package.

I'm not usually this cranky.... it's just that the mail carrier issue get's me going.

I've been complaining for years and filled out dozens of complaint forms. Nothing works. If you have the time, start video recording. Get a good collection, and send the videos off to your local TV station. They might like a story like that.

Basically proof of delivery is the Delivered status from the tracking number. I spoke to the local post office and said if it was delivered to the wrong address theres nothing he can do about it. I really did try to get this resolved but it seems your options are very limited with no insurance. I never realized until this happened to me that essentially if your mail is missing your **** out of luck.

I did think about filing a paypal dispute with the vendors for undelivered goods but felt it wasn't their fault since they did deliver the goods but the post office failed to.
