As noted in the subject, this is more of an issue with the fine folks at the US Postal Service on my first Revolver order. I'm not expecting anything from Revolver here, but wondering if anyone has any advice.

I placed my first order last Thursday for a couple of passthroughs and some cartos, which I was very excited to get. Much to my excitement, I got a shipping confirmation later that day, and based on the USPS website, it looked like it would arrive Tuesday. When I tracked it Saturday morning, it said it was out for delivery. Mail Carrier came and went, with no package, but later in the day, I re-checked the status and it said it had been delivered. I called our local post office and they were (predictably) useless. Submitted an online help request to see if they can tell me where my stuff is, but don't have very high hopes for that either.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar and, if so, whether or not packages have ever been "found" after the fact.

thanks!

My sympathies darkhood. The order I'm trying to find is a lot smaller, but it's frustrating nonetheless. Even better, without a response from my online USPS inquiry, I just received the following from those crackerjacks...

The United States Postal Service® (USPS®) would like to thank you for your recent E-mail. Your opinions are very important to the USPS® as we continually monitor and improve customer service.

You can provide feedback on your E-mail experience by completing a brief 5 minute survey. To participate in the survey, click on the Web address below.

If it's any consolation Darkhood, it looks like I'm SOL too. USPS sent a lovely generic response a week after my online query. Replied with a bunch of relevant questions, but nothing back yet. I called them last Friday and was told I'd get a call back within 24 hours, but have yet to hear a peep from them. Fired off an email to Revolver CS who apologized, but didn't seem to give a !@#%# otherwise. Asked if there might be a chance of getting back the $6 worth of points I spent on the order, but no response. I'm starting to sense a trend here...

Thankfully, the saga of the missing packages has only happened to me a couple of times so far, and I'm happy to say that there are at least a couple of companies willing to go the extra mile when something like this happens. On the bright side, got an amazing (and unexpected) package from another vendor last night, which is more than enough to overlook what happened with these folks.

We are happy to help you out, and we definitely care about our customers!

We definitely will do what we can to help out, but you have to understand that we have no control over USPS and their issues. If you can email me personally at msmith@revolvercig.com with the order info I can look into getting your points back and get my shipping manager to make this his top priority.

I hate when things like this happen because it reflects on our service when we did what we could on our end to quickly expedite your order to begin with. But give us a shot to show you the true revolver experience! Email me.

Thanks again Mr. Smith! Wanted to let you know that I just received a call from Charlie and (in an interesting coincidence), the package was returned to you guys today. It sounds like the USPS misread my address and delivered to #524 rather than 542 (which would have been correct). Just before I spoke to him, I got a message from the postal investigator telling me they had found it and offering to re-ship for free. I passed this on to Charlie and told him I could put him in touch with the investigator, but he said not to worry about it and that with any luck, I'd receive the package tomorrow. I'm really grateful for the email exchange and the follow through, but wanted to (publicly) thank you for giving this your personal attention and going the extra mile to make it right. I'm just glad the items weren't lost somewhere in the postal system but again, I truly appreciate your attention to my little issue here, especially given that it was a pretty small order. Stay tuned for a rehash of my saga in the "Reviews of Suppliers - Positive" forum and a more extensive review of the products (with commentary on your awesomeness) on my blog. I don't have millions of followers or anything, but a few people have switched from analogs to e-cigs after reading it, and I do what I can to highlight both good products and positive vendor experiences!
