These things happen with them. "Technically" USPS doesn't have true tracking unless it's express mail, otherwise they consider it delivery confirmation. Sometimes you get the added benefit of seeing where it is along the way, sometimes not so much. I've had packages drop out of sight completely after leaving the sending facility and then suddenly appear on my doorstep three days later. I wouldn't start worrying until it's been out of sight for 5 days from the date it was mailed.

I had a similar problem last month. I was notified of back and forth departure and processing scans 8 times before it finally left, holding my package up almost a week before leaving. What made it worse was it was only ~45min away from me, but USPS told me they don't allow customers to pick up items from sorting facilities.

Call USPS if you think it's taking unusually long, but chances are they won't help you much.

Lol I had one that ping ponged around New York state for 4 days before they finally rushed it here. Somehow, it still arrived before the deadline to call. On the other hand, I watched FedEx carry a package around in the back of their local truck for 3 days. I finally called them and asked if their driver had any plans for delivery. It was here by the end of the day. As long as you're not hard up for the contents, watching package delivery can be fun.

I did have a package take 3 weeks to get to me. I'm glad I found a B&M near me. It would have been tragic...back to stinkies moment.

Since then I have stocked up a bit!

Unfortunate part is that when the package arrived (No fault of USPS) all the clearo's were doa. I contacted the seller they were trying to be helpful but, basically a 3 week wait $25.00 thrown away :( That was then.. Haven't had any issues since.

Mine just has acceptance/shipping info scan and has not moved since the 8am on the 4th just chilling out in UT. Have to wait for the 9th before they will do something, seller said their maill person got weird from time to time. Issue is this is parts for my 1st mod coming in. so if one of the 3 packages is held up then the rest is useless till it gets here. ( the UT order happens to be most important as they are batts) :(

I love my USPS guy. He's a prince. He's even turned up at our door in the evening in the pouring rain with packages that got missed for loading at the station...all nicely wrapped in a plastic bag (and it wasn't even Christmas!). A couple of times when I've been expecting delivery of something he'll stop and go rummaging around in the back of his truck trying to find it...and then come back later (on his own time, in his personal car) ..he lives near us) to deliver the missing item that apparently got overlooked at the P.O.

Now, when he's been "off" or on vacation that replacement person is another matter. Twice the tracking showed that the item had been delivered, but it wasn't. And NO notice was left. I put in a inquiry online and both times the package turned up the next day. Weird. The replacement guy is ALWAYS late, too.

I love my USPS!! The UPS guy always puts us at the very end of his route...the very end. Sometimes doesn't show up until nearly 7pm!
