I actually think it hits harder than my Nemesis too. It's a really simple mod, but hits like a truck! I really like the button, you can lengthen or shorten the throw. Simple adjustable pin in the top cap. Lock ring is much easier than the Origin but not as easy as the Nemesis. For $170, I'm really happy with it. Just not sure if the characters, logo, and serial are etched or printed on the tube. If you run your finger over them, they feel raised. Hopefully it's just like extra ink used to fill the etching. I guess we'll find out as time goes on.

Sorry no video, but here's my setup. Been thinking of making my very first video/review because I like this mod so much, but won't have time for a couple weeks. Hopefully one of the more popular reviewers does one soon.

The thing I don't like about the Origin is that the button assembly has a lot to it (for what reason i don't know) and it can come loose. Super annoying.
You have to tighten the knurled nut in the bottom switch assembly with some needle nose pliers.

I love my Turtle Ship! I drove to VapeRev in Cerritos, CA originally to look at the Adam mod, or possibly to buy an Ithaka. However after watching PBusardo's review on the Adam - I was very reluctant to buy it.

Believe it or not, the sales rep at VapeRev, Jason, was extremely honest with me about the Adam - he pretty much confirmed everything Phil said about the Adam. The switch has major faults. Some people's Adam mod works fine, others - the voltage jumps all over the place - almost like the switch isnt making contact. Jason talked me out of dropping $170.00 on the brass Adam, I saw a bunch of kids standing around this one mod, they were all throwing in cash together to buy one of these new mods - I had no idea what the Turtle Ship mod was, but after they took it out, talked about all the contacts and tech specs of the device - I tossed down my Credit Card before the younger kids could scrounge up enough cash between the 4 of them to buy the polished chrome model. I own #23! So happy, and it looks so clean. Hits like a truck compared to my Empire Mod.

I also have a Omega (by Vapor Bombz) on the way. I saw a picture with the Turtle Ship w/ Omega and it looked amazing. The airflow design of the Omega looks interested as well, air flows underneath the coils - so w/ drilled out holes you keep it much cooler and better vapor production.

Hey -

Your picture inspired me to buy the RDA to go w/ my TS mod. I have a quick question, maybe you can help a fellow owner out. I'm running an 18650 battery, however it seems to rattle ever so slightly - I know there's a way to fasten down one of the screws to make it super snug.

In fact, the guy inside VapeRev did it for me, then like an idiot I started fiddling with it, now it's loose - How do I tighten this badboy up?
