Brand New Mini Turtle Ship mod won't fire!!!!

So, apparently my brand spanking new Mini Turtle Ship mech has the worlds shortest center pin. It's a floating pin, and even when it's pushed up all the way, it still doesn't make contact with my kayfun Mini (which does not have an adjustable 510 connection). Then, when it is fully assembled, even with the delrin adjuster in the switch adjusted all the way out, the battery rattles like crazy. Aside from scanning the aisles at Lowes for some brass pieces, what can I do? Please help. Very sad here today. . .

The delrin piece that surrounds the the negative pin is threaded. Spin that bit up and down to adjust for battery rattle.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I had to go to Lowes because even with the delrin battery adjuster unscrewed all the way, I still couldn't make contact. So, I bought some brass screws that had a flat top, and had the same diameter posts as the original center pin. I cut one down to size, about 1.5 mm longer than the original pin. I ground it down flat and polished the top. Works like a charm now. Annoying that it didn't come with a longer pin, but luckily I am a crafty lady who knows her way around a hardware store and power tools. Thanks again everyone!

Yep. Even with a button top battery, the center pin was just too short, regardless of taking everything apart and putting it all back together. I had to change out the spring too because the original spring was too weak and I couldn't stand it up without it auto-firing. I still like it a lot, but had to mod it for it to work for me. Hopefully RJ Mods will improve their design a bit on the next production run.

Nope, this is a 14500 mod and there are no additional tube sections.

Is there a kick ring? Had the same problem with a nemesis.
