V1 AFS with Carts at 7.4v!

So I finally got down to Lowe's and got a bit for my Dremel after popping another i7 in just a couple hours.

Made 5 carts for my V2 AFS and was very happy. Then I got very sad. They tasted like crapola at 7.4v.... this made me sad because I love overindulgent vaping on my Big Storm. The Big Storm makes my endorphins jump around in gratuitous glee.

So, As I was about to admit defeat, I decided I would break out the V1 AFS and see if I could get it to work with carts.

The AFS V1 works most awesomely and makes for happy fun time.

Threw it (v1) on the Big Storm at 7.4v just for poops and mini-laughter and for some reason... the V1 makes it good. It's like the Flaming Moe of 7.4v carto vaping.

Now I have happy fun time with Big Storm at 7.4v.

Then I got sad again...my wife discovered the awesomeness on her GGSS.
Oh well.. was glad to put my V1 to good use again. And the Carts on V2 at 6.0v is like sunshine in a tank as well.

How far up from the threads did you put your hole for use on the V1? Same 6-8 mm as for the V2?

Agreed the cartos @ 6v Rock, and there cheap to run with the best flavor yet.!!!

You can use the V1 with cartos but you have to change the caps guys, so if the upper cap goes on the other side then you can make a hole more near to the threads of the carto.

Yep, I think I did invert the caps now that I think about it.

I drilled the holes about 1/3 the way up, just gotta make sure you take into account the thickness of the V1. It's loaded up at the moment, so I can't measure it just yet, but the holes are a bit higher than on the v2.

Have not had a problem keeping it wet though, and the wicking in the poly seems to be pretty consistent.

I particularly have enjoyed having my V1 as backup with carts!

Too bad that they are so awesome that people don't want to sell them... I wonder if such a person exists....

V2 is still way better I think, I just like having my V1 handy with carts for a load and go situation. Which is why I want more.

That and I have money in my paypal account that I can't buy vaping stuff with from websites... so frustrating.

Haha, thanks for the trade harpo Waffle posted this after we had made the trade and I was very excited when he posted you can use modified cartos with it. I'm waiting on my KR808's to be delivered so I haven't been able to try them with the V1 yet.

So far, it has been nice having lots of AFS to go around!!! I can't believe how terrible dripping tastes now since exclusively using AFS.

Agreed HEF I think they should go in order of the GGTS Owners, example I have number 9 GGTS so I would get #9 GGTS/AFS. Now that would be cool..!!!! How about that Rob & Lisa Customers that have stayed true get dips???
