V2 is compatible with KR808D-1. Just get KR808D-1 batteries and I recommend manuals - they are safer from getting killed by juice leaks because they are not dependent on a drag sensor in the threaded end of the battery, won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration, and I think they are less work. You can get plain KR808D-1 batteries at Vaporleaf.com or LiteCigUSA.net. And colors, plain or camo no-led ones at Vapor4Life.com which is also the largest source of prefilled KR8 cartos.

I hope you didn't buy those 9 batteries at full price. 9X$30=$270. Wow that would have bought 21-22 batteries at V4L on sale.

V2cigs and companies like it stay in business by new customers only. They want your first $400 of ecig spending and 5 of your friends as referrals while you are excited about ecigs. After that you catch on and will find another supplier or go back to smoking out of frustration. V2cigs doesn't expect to keep customers after 60 days. I think their supply shortages work in their favor because ex-smokers stock up just in case and even more so since supply is "limited". It's quite a racket they've got going.

Sending out known problem batteries and chargers to people on purpose speaks volumes on their overall sleaziness. I just hope no ones house catches on fire because of their neglect. They expect you to eventually get frustrated and quit sending the rejects back, so the lifetime warranties are worth it to them.

If your batteries are new send them back and if they won't give you credit card refunds (not store credit for more overpriced stuff) call them and threaten to do a credit card chargeback on them. I promise you they will do anything to avoid those. It worked wonders for me and I am finally done with them, except for the occasional rant on ECF.

By the way welcome to the forum. I've bought from 6-7 vendors from the ECF suppliers list and have gotten great product and service. You've come to the right place.
