Ive got the V2 equipment as well and have to say I am EXTREMELY pleased with it. It produces huge clouds of Vapor, the Pre-filled have a nice smooth taste to them, and the blanks are some of the best Ive found thus far. Ive tried some blanks from other vendors and they were not better in my opinion. Ive got the automatic and manual batteries in Black, battery time is dependent on how much you use it but so far Ive not had a single problem with battery or battery life and its been a few months so far. Ive seen a lot of bad publicity on this product and just really don't understand the problems that people have with it, the product works and works well. Everything and anything you purchase is going to have problems of some sort eventually, anything mechanical is going to, look at the Ego-T and horror stories with that set up, completely mixed reviews its a complete LOVE/HATE relationship. I think for a 808 setup this is really a good deal, cost wise its a bit more than the rest of them but then again I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. I ordered other vendor batteries and can tell the difference in performance and quality as soon as I use them, its just not there. Just the fact that Ive been off the Analogs for 4 months says to me its a good product!!!!

UGG. The v2 bashing never gets old. I was a victim of that rift. Ill keep spreading the word every time I see anything that has to do with them. They have an UGLY side. Very ugly. The only things I can say good about them is that the 4.2 volts has a nice kick for a mini and the RED they sell is the best juice I have had to date. With that being said, on to my horror story.

I seen a few v2 kits at the local cig shop and did some research on them using Google. I found this V2 Cigs Review Part 1 - YouTube and this V2 Cigs Review Part 2 - YouTube along with a few others that had only good things to say about them. But what really won me over was the lifetime warranty and the phone call she recorded to customer service. What a misleading review.

So I bought the starter kit from the local tobacco shop unknowing about the bad buy I had just made. 10 days in the first battery died so I contact v2 for some of that great service. Only they turned me away like I was the HIV virus. Go back to the store we can not do anything for you. Okay well the store swapped me out but where total ...... about it. They treated me like I stole the kit. No fault of v2 though. The next battery dies two days later. WTF? The store would not exchange that one so back on the phone with v2. So you say the store has to take care of me and thats your rule, but what if they wont? Your S.O.L. sir.

On to a 2 hour round trip drive to another store where they exchange no questions asked. Finally a store where the people are decent and understanding. In the mean time I bought my third 5 pack of v-2 cartridges that did not vape at all. Nothing the store can do about that. The third battery goes out and thats due to the charger trying to blow it up and set my house on fire. On to my second 2 hour trip to get another battery and a new charger. That battery was DOA!

I lost it by then and it was only day 18 since I bought the starter kit. So I call v2 and this time im not taking no for an answer. Im sure they will help me now after all my troubles. Only they wont. So I said look im done with this. If u wont help me I will smear your name all over youtube and your sure to feel some pain form that. Ill tell all! They could care less. So on to my third 2 hour trip to return my fourth bad battery to get my money back on the starter kit.

Now some may say that I am in the wrong for buying in a store, but no one has ever made that make sense. I bought a gas station kit in a store and they took care of me. Went above what I asked even. That ecig was called 21st century smoke by the way. They replaced two bad cartridges with 6 new ones. Even broke policy on another issue I had that they didnt even need to fix. Thats service. My main point is that if I see something in a store I can not cut the store out and buy direct. I have to buy from the store. When I have trouble with something I bought at a store I have to contact the manufacturer. I know thats normal practice and never thought I was wrong for buying the product in a store.

In conclusion to my book V2 is a dirt ball company that takes advantage of people. If you wont service your own product when sold to a store then perhaps you should not sell to stores V2.

I wont agree or disagree, if you feel justified in what you doing then so be it. Personally, I believe it was the stores ultimate responsibility to take care of ALL the problems and not V2. Any store that agrees to carry a product is also agreeing with the supplier to replace defective equipment because obviously there will be a bad battery, bad cartomizer batch, bad charger, etc.. and any "responsible" store will return the product for exchange, sounds more like the stores didnt want to deal with the problem. Its clearly stated on the website as well: This warranty applies only to retail orders placed on this web-site (if you purchased your kit from a physical retailer, please see your retailer for guarantee claims). The V2 warranty is offered to original purchasers who have acquired their V2 product here at v2cigs.com. (note: if you have purchased your V2 product from a physical retailer, please return the product to the retailer).

Good points and I agree with most of what u said. Its nice to know they have that on the site. My fault in all this was ignorance in not buying from the site. I was just not born with that unconventional knowledge. I didn't even look at the site. I was more concerned with the way the product worked and how people liked it. Lesson learned. On the other hand they knew what I was going threw and still brushed me off. After my simple yet huge mistake they had no compassion what so ever. Makes it real hard to like them ill tell you that much.

You said that "Any store that agrees to carry a product is also agreeing with the supplier to replace defective equipment". First of all you said "agreeing with the supplier to replace defective equipment". Why is v2 not going to bat for me then and why is the fault only placed on the guy that spent money? Second. How does that mix in with the lifetime warranty?

Going from what happened to me last summer. My home air conditioner broke. I called the manufacturer and they sent a guy to fix it. The repair person could not so they sent me a new unit. I never once was told to deal with Home Depot. That's where im coming from on the store vs manufacturer.

I've found V2 batteries and cartos to be top quality. I've never had a DOA carto and the batteries are still going strong. I find the throat hit and vapor with this set up to be as good or better than all the fat batts I've tried. I don't buy from them anymore, but only because I got sick of filling cartos and recharging batteries, I can't fault the product.

All Valid points Striker....and I see where your coming from as well, and agree with you that V2 could have been a little more helpful than they were, and yes, they should drop that store completely for not full filling what they are supposed to be doing, I also agree since the store wouldnt help you it would have been a nice gesture to go the extra mile and take care of it, its not a huge loss to them I am sure. Im sorry to hear about your poor experience and hope that youve found something worthy! Along with the V2 Im very much enjoying a Riva 900mah setup right now, probably going exclusively with it in the future after I burn through the cartridges from the V2. My biggest disappointment with V2 is the stock issues and not telling whats in stock and whats not, but as you pointed out the Red juice is darn good! Take care, happy vaping!

Thanks and ya, I now have a Provari. I had to make due with my other gas station ecigs for about 3 months though. I took a personal vendetta against v2 and vowed not to let them help me fail my quest to quit analogs. It was hard. Heck I spent $80 plus on gas just to exchange all that stuff. Then on top of the cartridges not working while breaking battery's it was hell. I would guess I over worked them trying to breath under water with a straw. Its not working!!! lol.

In the end if thats not poor customer service then I have no idea what is. I told v2 I hope that I am your most unsatisfied customer ever. With my luck it looks like I win that honor. Im with you on the out of stock stuff as well. Forgot about that one. I ordered some blanks and for a week it just said "in fulfillment". I just asked for my money back. By then I figured out how to refill the stock ones. When they work they are great to be honest. I may just need a exorcism.

UPDATE: The V2 kit was my first setup after using just a convenience store NJOY for a few months. It was also before I began frequenting the ECF forums. All in all, I'm still happy with the performance, and the battery quality is good.

That being said, while I wasn't completely ripped off (or "white clouded," as I say) there are much cheaper, quality vendors of KR808 setups here on ECF. And the V2 cartos don't hold a candle to Smokeless Image's.

I've been moving on with bigger batteries and better cartos. But, just checking in and reporting that after over 4 months, the V2s are still working well. I do realize now, however, they are one of the companies that hits the front lines with a lot of marketing to get the newbies, but to be fair, their cartos cost about the same as others, and aren't bad per se. And, they have kept me away from analogues, so I can't complain.

Oh lord. Back from the dead. I cringe when I see V-2. Even if it just means version 2 as in Provari V2. Cant help that it was such a horrible exp for me. My dad finally put them down for this and is so much better and cheaper even. E-Turbo Starter Kit Also look at the price on the 18650 tube mod. Blows that junk away and fore the cost of a 5 pack of dry carts you can get a tank that kicks the crap out of a cart.

Everyone in here lauding V2 for their products needs to try a REAL e cig (like a Joyetech Ego-C) for 5 minutes and then go back to the V2 and then tell us all how "awesome" they are :D

Let me just take a wild ... guess.............Youve never tried one right? Well I have, and I have both, and I still smoke the V2 and it still makes just as much Vapor and performs just as well as my Riva 510. Oh, Wait, thats not a Ego or a Joyetech...I guess I should go buy one now!
The V2 is still awesome.........have a nice day!

I vaped V2 for a few months and loved it. I'm sure the longer you are vaping the more ecig kits you'll buy and each one will be better then the last. I say they are all good if they keep you from hitting the analogs. Now if you want to see a kick ... mod, check out Phil Busardo's light saber. Battery charge last him about 27 yrs. and the vaper it produces will rival a 5 alarm fire in a rubber factory. Check out his light saber mod at about 3 minutes into this review A PBusardo review : Boba's Bounty Juice from AVE - YouTube
