I am excited to say I am a new former customer of V2. I was lucky enough to be able to return the product for a refund. I am now happily vaping with Vapor4life products and my mother went with Bloog and she is just as happy.

@Dwezel272

That very informative post came after the first forum post started by a customer with their concern was deleted by V2 and then a week of upset customers wondering what happened with the product they thought they ordered. The one question I still wonder about is why, if their batteries were changed in October of 2010, didn't they change their website to reflect that by January 2011.

Yeah I read that and it seemed like a little double talk, but also speaks for a company trying to find balance and good suppliers when confronted with a huge demand.
Today I read the battery price was increased as well (1/14/11)
So be it. It can drive out customers (and it sounds like it has some, even from this side of the aisle).
They have issues. Least of which is batteries or pricing. Seems like back orders and customer service false promises/confusion is their biggest issue.

Rebranders are sometimes prone to exaggeration, like saying a carto lasts as long as a pack of cigarettes, a battery lasts all day, etc. It's not always malicious, sometimes just what they see other sites saying. But 3.7 volts is around where I think slim mini batteries are usually claimed to be by the Chinese manufacturers and most multi-brand sites.

Good term. I deal with one of those at a Mall Kiosk. Good folks, good warranty(a year with no questions asked on batteries, and they never even ask for receipt). I helped em out over the holidays, for 1 1/2 months, and you learn a lot about the upsides and flaws of these KR808D-1's. I was able to deal with the customers on all issues regarding these units. Lotta QC issues out of China. It seems on a regular basis, the "rebranders" need to change up sources, or the sources change things on them (2nd being more likely).
Gotta say though, as formats go, these are great units. Just don't get caught up in fancy overstated claims.

Ouch. Sounds like I'm at fault for liking V2. I like V4L products as well, but there customer service is non-existent these days. Each to their own... right.
AS long as we are all vaping and not smoking anymore we are all in the same camp. I will say that I still think the KR808D-1 is the way to go who ever you get it from. My experience with V2 has been good. It was good with V4L and I still think they have a great selection of cart flavors but I see a lot of out of stock there to. It seems like all the sellers are dealing with high demand and stock issues. I just kind of like a company that I can actually get a response from.

So the question arises to me...
Is the product different between V2/V4L/ Vapor4Life,/Bloog? I'm running a Mall Store unit which is excellent and they back their product for a year, no questions asked.
I understand the carto diff with Bloog, but I'm talking equipment here. Batteries/chargers.

My assumption is there is little difference in the batteries/chargers and minor on the carto's with some flavor differences as well (in prefilled).
I think price is a minor issue for many reasons, since overall they all fall in place within ~$50.00 or so.
Company service is where it is at. Loyalty only (to me) goes as far as the company can be trusted.

Feedback?

Vapor4Life actually has wonderful support. They have several ways to contact them, from phone numbers, to live chat support, to support tickets and even skype.

One can only vape if they can actually get the supplies they need. My issue was never with V2 being out of stock, it was the fact that they took my money knowing they wouldn't be able to fill the order without telling me they couldn't. V4L doesn't list products they don't have in stock. If it's not in stock, you can't buy it.

The industry is experiencing tremendous growth across the board. Supplies get tight and customers have to look else where some times to get what they need to stay smoke free. Before I spend money, I'd like to know I am going to get what I ordered in a timely fashion. I can easily order to accommodate shipping/handling time, but I can't do that if the company isn't upfront about what it does and does not have in stock. And since they have my money tied up without providing the product, I get screwed and end up having to smoke cigarettes? I don't think so.

And at the risk of sounding like a broken record, what good is being able to contact customer service if the only thing they tell you is next week, and when next week comes, they once again tell you next week. At what point is taking payment and not providing the product considered theft?

I think a lot of us paid a little to much for our first e-cig,seems the search engines know when your a nuub,so they show ya all these flashy looking sites making claims about there product that are definitely a stretch on the truth.sad part is that many people give up on e-cigs because the e-cig they bought is not as good as others and it makes them give up on them when there is so much to be gained from giving up analogs and going digital.Glad to see you at least got one that is working for you.

YUP i agree
