I am in the field for a new ecig and narrowed it down to PS due to the great reviews and words I've read.

It's either the V3, or the Icon.
Shooting towards the V3, but worried about it's size.
I calculated it out to be about the same size as a pen with a push top
"length wise of course" Worried about that, I don't want to feel like I have a beating stick in my pocket. at "4.3 length without atty or drip tip. That's quite a long PV IMO.

What do you guys think about the size? Does anyone have, or could post pictures of the V3 with an atty and a cart or drip tip on it next to a few house hold objects, i.e. bic lighter, normal wood pencil not sharpened, drivers license.
I would appreciate it, it would give me a better understand on the size.

Thanks
Jon

mine is 4.125" w/out the atomizer. it fits in pant pockets quite well. if you want to experience high voltage vaping, i think the size is normal, if not on the small side. you'd have to have very tiny hands to think the V3 was a big PV. it has a bit of heft to it, being that it's stainless steel, but nothing too serious. if you want a miniature PV just go with the ICON and simulate HV with an LR atty. both are great PV's, serving different purposes, but only the V3 covers all the bases in about as small a package as you could expect.

Hi jRP. I'm glad you found help here and decided on the V3. I know you'll love it; it's a fantastic device! :)

For batteries, buGG is the battery man too. But I can tell you what he's going to say:

For 3.7v, use the AW Protected 17670 battery that Pure Smoker sells.

For 6v, use AW LiFePo4s (although I've been using the Tenergy LiFePo4s that come with the full kit, I recently ordered some of the AWs and can't wait to get them). I got mine here:

AW lifepo4

Got mine with the charger and batteries and couldn't be happier. I'm still using the Tenergys I got with my Prodigy V1 , sometime in Aug 09 and rotating them with the ones I got with my V2 in January 10. All working well and just started using the new ones I got with the V3. No problems here. I'm a happy PureSmoker camper!! Probably going to try the AWs though. Haven't tried the 3.7 with the V3 yet. I have a Protege for that.:D

Definitely not to big for a Marine!

Maybe too big for a swabby though!:toast:

I'd be careful with the smaller one. You might try to stuff it into a M1A1 in the heat of the moment!;)

I ended up using mine mostly with the 17600 bat? and vaping at 3.7 volt and using a 2.0 omh atty from Ikenvape. WooHoo. And killer battery life. Morning to bedtime on one battery!!!

At the full 6v, people are really liking the 3.5 atty from Ikenvape.
