And I haven't seen anyone say that the VW is anything but delicate

Not that I would be able to tell the difference, but "technicians" state VW is usually not implemented very well. Personally I was just surprised VW wasn't on the ProVari due the cost. I can see the VW "controversy" from both angles though, but the bottom line is if you want VW then don't buy the ProVari. To me the solution is simple.

And then the baby will need a dad & brothers & sisters:lol::lol:
I have a few mechanicals & I really like them. I was told that they might ruin me & make me fall outta love with my Provari's but for me that hasn't been the case. I like them well enough to use nearly everyday. Especially for my rda's that I like to build on but I still use a Provari to test them & make sure it's a safe build. Another great thing about the Provari...if it isn't a good build it won't fire. Can't wait to see what you think of yours when it arrives.

Oh & who you callin old:laugh:

Oh Great, now you got me thinking the Mommy needs a husband. This is not good considering I originally wanted the "crop circle" version.

There are some beautiful mechanical mods out there, and considering I'm technically inclined and can get into trouble (too many toys) I have to draw the line somewhere. The kayfun Lite is calling my name but I'll save that for later.

I've already looked at the status of my order twice today. It's going to be a long week. LOL

Congrats, just ordered myself a zombie Apocalypse Provari. So cant wait for it to be in my hands on Monday. For me it was the build quality that got me to buy one. My zmax has a cracked screen, and the telescopic threading is junk. So is the 510 connection on top its sloppy at best with anything I put on it.

The screen feels outdated for me also, but I think one reason they stay with it is because its probably quite a bit more reliable. My zmax already does funky things on the oled screen, its also started to misfire recently or well not fire at all, button push and nothing, no screen no vape. zero zilch.

::: Hi five :::

Now I really don't feel bad about the LED. The OLED screens do look snazzy, but I'll take an older technology than a half-baked new one. And to be honest, once you know the menu system is not really a big deal. The way the "R" and "A's" appear on the Smok Zmax drove me crazy until I used to it. In all fairness, I have only held a Provari and didn't get a chance to look at the screen. I only saw it on YouTube videos. Did you get the green LED?

Originally I was gonna get a SVD instead of the ZMAX, but there was an older guy behind me that really really wanted it. He had an EGO setup, and figured I had better access to other resources than him. I don't regret the decision and he was really really really excited about it.

Yeah, I just saw a picture where a ProVari had a fight with a lawn mower. All things considered, the ProVari didn't look THAT bad. LOL

I signed up before I got the Sigelei Iching... dead on arrival and the thing looks brand new (from a trade, who swore it was working fine when he shipped it - no biggie, it was a bonus thing). That's not a good sign for the ZMax either (can die in well padded shipping).

Wow that is not good. Sorry to hear about that.

I hope so, my Sigelei IChing is not impressive... but it DOES look nice! Hrm. Bet I can replace the little doohickey board thingie in the top somewhere...

My SMOK Zmax mini is pretty too. I'm usually into functionality over aesthetics but in vaping I tend to go the other way for some reason.

Sadly, it is ALL YOUR FAULT. I stopped thinking about the Provari until you mentioned it in that Cartotank thread. And now Chimney34 has me thinking about a Provari family.

Heeheehee..I love planting seeds in people's brain. Seriously, you will not be disappointed. This thing vapes like a beast. Smooth threads, high quality and once you find your favorite topper, it's awesome.

Now in the rare chance you don't like it, I don't know you, you don't know me. ;)

Your such a trouble maker. LOL

Yeah looking for a topper now. I think an IBTank with Turquoise caps and white washers would look good with a white mini. Still debating. I have the "standard" SS caps and black washers, so that will have to do for now. Maybe when "baby" gets to be a teenager I'll splurge more. Baby steps ... literally.

I placed my order on Friday and it still hasn't shipped. :matrix:

I ordered batteries on Sunday and it shipped today.

I told myself I would never become one of these people.
The batteries shipped, or the ProVari? Since I started ordering from China, I've become more appreciative of the efficiency of the USPS.

I'm being very unrealistic and impatient, although today will be the third business day. I'm off this week and want to play with my new toy. The batteries have shipped but not the Provari. I ordered a green LED, so I assume that is holding it up.

Yesterday, I just received my package from fast tech. The order was placed before Thanksgiving. Things could be so much worse.

EDIT: I just read the processing time for the white Provari which is "3-5 Business Days". Actually they all say that. :(
