Wonder how well it vapes vs. the original.......The authentic one hits like a train....

As much as I like my authentic one (I realize a lot of people don't care for it, but I enjoy using it), I disagree with the way V3tronix publicly threw a hissy fit over the cloning of this mod....made them look bad IMO....I mean I understand getting defensive, but it's going to happen one way or the other (being cloned).....might as well just accept it and move on.....

From what I hear it hits fine, nothing spectacular but I've tried the authentic as well and it wasn't what I consider a high performance mod either compared to everything in the market right now.

Honestly, my authentic Flip didn't hit that great until I put the new version positive contact in it. I watched the review from "Big Tom" and I must say that Hcigar did a pretty nice job on the clone. The engravings are not a spot on match with my first batch authentic, nor my wife's newer authentic Flip, but they appear well done. Seems my wife's later version Flip has quite a bit more detail in the engravings especially in the area of the lions.

I was happy to see that the HCigar does NOT say "Made in USA" on the switch, nor did they clone V3's serial numbering.

Yeah, I have the solid-pin positive contact in mine....I just trust it more than the spring version....

Like I said in a previous post in another thread, the Flip hits well, but I have much lesser costing mods that hit just as well...you're basically paying for the name and the design IMO.....they are really expensive, but I don't regret buying it. I better not, because I'm stuck with it anyway!! (Had mine engraved with my initials)...

Since they don't offer a brass version I just ordered one from Fasttech for $43. It looks great in the photos so I can't wait to see it in person. I got a thing for brass mods. Fasttech say it ships in 5 days.

Also ordered a gold ehpro kayfun to top it off. On sale at mrvaporman for $35.
