I want the clone just because they are being such jerks. I took them off fb just because I got tired of how rude they are.

PLUS1.

Probably of of the tackiest designs I have ever seen. Now I want to buy one to wag it in their faces

I don't blame them for being upset they're being cloned.

The whole public shaming of individuals thing is ridiculously childish though.

It is one thing to be upset and want to protect your product.
it is another to sell clones of others designs then act like total d bags when your own design gets cloned.

The idiotic v3 lapdogs like the ones in this image are what drive me away from buying a v3 authentic View attachment 328236

It's getting pretty liable on the facebook. They're saying things like "the real vaping community" vs "wannabe vaping community" and just basically told a nice lady who was an actual customer to go F herself.

Their temper is seemingly on the verge of saying something politically incorrect that they really won't end up being able to take back.

If V3Tronix keeps this up, they are gonna end up having to close up shop and secretly re-open as another brand, 'cause this stink is gonna be mighty hard to get rid of.

Amazing rookie mistakes.

Anyways:

So... NOW I remember exactly what the V3Tronix engravings remind me of:

A HORRIBLY AMATEUR TATTOO GONE TERRIBLY WRONG. :D

Think about it!

If I got this s**t tattooed on me one drunken night, I'd be SOOOOOOOO ...... the next morning.

The Flip engravings are nonsense. What, Captain America meets the Lowenbrau beer logo?

FLIP =

And the new Takana mech is just as gaudy:

Apparently, it will cost $60.50 delivered.

Will it be a 1:1 like the orginal? No.

Will the original give you 5+ times the great vape experience? Probably not.

Hissy fits are never a good idea in any business.

Btw, I like my mods big and gaudy. Which is why I love my Maraxus.

The V3 Flip clone has definitely caught my eye. :hubba:

If they're warning me to take off the clone on ebay, could they do anything if I don't ?

No.
As long as you aren't calling it an original.
Private sale of a replica item happens a thousand times a day on eBay.

Now eBay may shut ya down for sellin "tobacco" products, I have no idea, really.
eBay has its own rules and they are a private company so thy can ban/remove any one they want for any reason they like.

Wow! Apparently, these people haven't had access to the internet long enough to know you don't throw a huge, massive, public tantrum online... It always surprises me to still see things like this. When people like this get taken down online, they get taken down in a massively horrific way. I wonder how many clones these guys have ever purchased since they started vaping themselves?

Seeing as to how they were selling Trident clones, probably a few.

They have taken down eBay listings through "trademark" infringement though.

I'm a proud owner of a first run V3 Flip, but I'm not so proud of how they've handled the clone issue. On one hand, more power to them for sticking up for their product and trademark. On the other hand, they've handled it very ugly, and quite honestly, seem to continue to embarrass themselves.

I can personally say that their customer service is top notch and responsive, but it seems they need to hire someone new to handle PR and social media.

It's unlikely to me that the clone will stand up to the original in it's fit and finish, at least not from the photos I've seen. But if V3 is lucky, the clone will perform well and ultimately send more business their way.

They should have stayed quiet and let the clone do it's job.

Just LOL at them calling out individual people on FB...

Me thinks the dog's bark is worse than its bite.

Lawyers are expensive and multinational trademark infringement lawsuits aren't cheap. This isn't a huge company with deep pockets. (AFAIK)

The odds of them winning a case against a private group-buyer or e-bayer for infringement is even more

If Apple with all their money and lawyers can't stop this then what chance does V3 have with Hcigar...

I think they know that. That is why they are going after the small fries (group buys), which I personally think is stupid. They are ostracizing themselves from the vaping community and turning off potential customers, some of which are group buyers.
