V4L Battery Question

I think an overfilled cartridge shorted my battery. Is this a "recoverable" issue? Is there a way to clean the battery without shorting it further?

Gotta admit. I'm a little disappointed with no replies. This was a big deal to me as a newbee but no help from the forum. Battery seemed to dry out by itself. Blew out excess from cartomizer and everything is working okay again. Still wonder if there is any way to clear ejuice from battery should it happen again.

I am assuming its an auto battery because the manuals are sealed. I think the juice just makes the switch inside sticky, try taking off the carto and blowing into the battery a few times to see if you can loosen it up?
