So I was very lucky to receive a 'blue' dual zeus to review, and wow, can see what all the fuss is about the zeus now, it is a awesome battery with a punch.
I will say I had fallen in love with the DAV's, but this takes it a step higher, and being blue, I love the look of it, I think the blue is a bit brighter blue than the DAV's blue, or could be my blue DAV has faded a bit.
I own 2 large (1100mah) DAV's, and the 900mah dual zeus is the same width, but slightly longer, this is due to being the dual mode, the only auto one is probably shorter than the 1100mah DAV, I will put pictures at the end of this thread, so can see size etc.
When it turned up, I put it straight in charge and was green and ready to go just after a hour of charging, I then used it with a 2ohm dual carto in a 3.5ml V4L tank, I was not working, so I pretty much chain vape on saturdays, after 2 empty tanks and 5 hours the battery dies, which amazed me, as with the 1100mah DAV can only take 4 hours with the same tanks (I normally have DAV set around 4.5volts), maybe just because the zeus is brand new? I wanted to drain it to see how long would take charge from dead, I checked every 30 minutes, between 2 and half hours to 3 hours it was fully charged again and ready to go, so a real improvement to me on charging compared to the DAV's. I have not had time yet to test how long it takes to charge by usb instead.
I am glad I got the dual, as only ever used auto's before the zeus, I am finding I prefer the manual mode most of the time, I take long hits when vaping, and the cut off time in auto is between 5-6 seconds, which I found sometimes a bit short, as use to taking a small puff and then followed by a long puff and it would cut out before I wanted it too, but this is probably the only negative I can say about it, I find I can get a longer and powerful hit using manual, just take some getting use to pressing a button, I keep going to vape and wonder why it isn't working, then remember to push the button
Right now I am using the pass through and vaping and charging while doing this review, which is great for when at home, as pretty much always on the computer and vaping
I'm not sure if clearomizers could be made to take the 5volts, but if they could, I would probably just go with zeus's now, especially with the new colors coming.
I have used the DAV's with the smileomizers and found them very good, but they are even better with the zeus, you get a really good hit and vapor with them, which myself I really like, I still prefer the tanks myself, just because I find a stronger flavor with them, due to my taste buds still not very good.
Pros -
Looks awesome, sleek and blends nice with the smileomizers
Powerful, if you like vaping week, this isn't for you, it gives you a kick
Dual is a great idea, like being able to choose how I want it (auto/manual)
Fast charging for this size
Passthrough while charging
Cons
Only one and that would be the cut off time being a little short for me.
I believe V4L will make colored smilomizers to go with the new colored zeus, will look smooth. There will be more colors than just blue for the zeus, not sure what they all will be, may be more than there is for the DAV's, but we will just have to wait and see.
To finish off, I love the zeus, maybe more than the DAV's, but won't trade in my DAV's yet, maybe if I get enough tanks for all the juices I use, and not need to use clearomizers, that could change though. It really as good as they all say
Some picture of the zeus with other batteries for size comparison and look of with tank and smileomizer.
1st picture, zeus on the right next to a 1100mah DAV blue and a regular titan diamond end battery, can see the zeus is more of a blue, see a purple tint with the DAV's blue
Next the zeus with a tank
Last zeus with smileomizer

Thanks to Brandon and V4L for the chance to review the colored zeus.
