I guess I expected more out of V4L after reading all that was said about the company. First the kit they sent me was incomplete. I did not receive the car adaptor that was included in the kit. I understand things happen and no company is perfect. I sent them a service ticket about it, and they got back in a good amount of time... But did not address the problem of my missing car adaptor. Instead they addressed my question about how to charge the PCC other than using a computer. which was to buy a wall adaptor with a usb port from another company, since they dont carry one. I travel alot for my paintball team during the summer and snowboarding during the winter. I spend alot of weekends in hotels. I dont bring my laptop when i travel. and since V4L doesnt offer a way to charge a PCC via a wall charger with a usb port.I guess when it dies it dies. I liked the idea of the PCC to charge my PV when out and about all day. but with no way to charge the PCC it doesnt do me much good. last the carrying case they sent me doesnt hold the cartos and batteries well. when just walking around the batteries and cartos fall out and rattle around. if it cant handle walking around how will it handle bouncing down a moutain?? my other carrying case holds my batteries and cartos firmly into place and doesnt dislodge even when i shake it. but i have to return it since it was part of a kit i am returning. Im worried about the batteries getting loose and getting jammed up pressing the button on the manual battery killing the battery.
V4L did send me 10 cartos for free which was great since i got to try a bunch of different flavors. and free stuff is always good. Understand Im not bashing V4L. Im simply sharing me experience so far we will see how they handle this issue from here on out. I do hope they start living up to the hype.
sorry about the long post. lol

so sorry your first order didn't go as you expected -- I've bought things from lots of different vendors, and the one thing v4l is known for is their customer service, imho. So hopefully they'll make it right for you. In general I've found their hardware to be pretty good -- the v4l staff checks in on their sub-forum a lot -- so as soon as your post count gets a little higher feel free to post your opinions and experiences there, too. i think they'll try to make it right. happy vaping!

Randine...First, I am terribly sorry to hear you have had a disappointing first experience with V4L:( I would love to see you get one more post here and then you will have enough forum posts that you can also copy this over into their forum. They are very active in that forum and can address your issues here on ECF better over there as they are not allowed to post here.

Vapor4Life

Rest assured that you will be taken care of though. They do pride themselves on making things right.

Sry to hear that but from what i see v4l is committed to provide grade A service and i am sure they will fix whats wrong. I do believe you could get a usb car charger from wal-mart or radio shack to keep you vapen while you wait. If i remember correct all it needs is 4.2volts 420ma out correct me if i am wrong. BTW welcome to ecf!!!

@mark im not done with V4L. I will give any company a chance to fix things as i know mistakes happen. what really makes a company is what they do when things go wrong. its easy to run a company when all is good. but a company's true colors show when things go wrong.
this vaping thing has been a rocky start to say the least. i think i have been smoking more "regs" while trying to start vaping than before. so far i have 2 kits to send back lol. it is alot to take in all at once and there is an overwhelming amount of information on this forum. but thats a good thing bc i have learned so much in such a short amount of time.

They're a cool place to start one's "vaping journey" lol, but I think a lot of people move on to other vendors after a while. It's true whenever they mess up an order they quickly correct it and sometimes include free stuff, the problem is that they mess up orders an awful lot- or at least they were when I was ordering from them at the beginning of the year.

Started with "Blu" and switched to "V4L" , I havn't been vaping that long but there is one thing im learning quickly. There is no "Perfect" e cig just like there is no perfect company. One thing i will say, their customer service is topnotch. Wish their stuff was made in the usa though. But there are a no B.S company, Post in their forum and im ultra confident your issue will be resolved. They know how to do business, goodluck.
