V4L Passthrough Question...

Where would one find this USB in a vechile, I have 2009 edge, would love to see if it had one, it does not have a cig light in it but my truck does.

My Daughter has a Ford Edge and hers is in the arm rest in between the seats. If yours has one you can just plug in your pass through and you wont need a cig lighter.

Have you guys tried using the PT in combo with a Car charger? I was wondering if this would work. Also does this PT have a battery in it?

I used my PT in the car.... no problem!

rags, my boyfriend uses his passthru exclusively on a wall to usb adaptor & has never had an issue with it.

unfortunatley, they are all sold out now - but perhaps your unit doesn't have enough juice to power the PT? i bought a couple of them before finding the one above and they wouldn't power the PT. you just have to make sure the unit is strong enough.
as far as the car adaptor, i have not had any issues with the one i got from V4L (except it makes the radio buzz when i use it so i only use it when i listen to cd's). hope that helps.

Yes, thank you . It helps a great deal. I will try another adaptor soon. I used the pt in the car today with a 12V-USB adaptor from the same company and it worked great. I loved it actually. Perfect heat for my juices. I just wish it worked at home. I ordered both adaptors from goodprophets.com, but maybe it's just a fluke. I'll try another soon and post if it does get better. Thanks for the link. Appreciate it. Don't know about the radio buzz since I almost never listen to it, just my CD's. Songs are usually old by the time I get to hear them!...

But at the same time, I'm not sure there is any point to ordering another adaptor as the one I have seems to be the same strength as the one in the link. So I may just order another passthrough from somewhere. But everyone is always "out of stock". Usually my luck lately.
