Ooo, Ches! I may be visiting my local engraver and taking my favorite batt! What a great idea!

I used to engrave pens and such all the time. The laser took off the paint and any coating showing the underside color perfect. It changes the color of anodized to white well too. Did some cell phones, ipods, and laptops as well.

You could put your name, personal message, or small artwork (like flames!) on the batts.

This thread is "This is your life" for me! I did embroidery, I made and engraved the plates those machines used before computers took over and I did engraing on gift pens, lighters ect for Wal-mart! I have a trophy shop not far from me..maybe they can engrave on my batt!

LOL, I remember that tv show !!...(oops, showing my age here)

I'd love to see a mug with the crown emblem on one side a a V4L logo on the other. I hope it all works out, Maxwell!

Now that I would use !

You have an embroidery machine? What brand/model? My wife wants one....

It's a Janome 350E with digitizer pro software. Didn't want to go all out with a $1k model so I went with one I could download designs to that was a good price. It's a few years old now but it was only about $500 + software (which was more then the machine). Totally recommend going to a sewing shop that sells them, they will let your wife try them out and set her up with what she needs I stead of buying more then you need. They also offer classes to get started.
When my hubby was in business I use to do all his logo's on his work wear. Now it's just a hobby.
Let me know if she gets one.

Thanks for the info!

She has a nice Husqvarna (Viking I think) sewing machine she constantly uses....and has been thinking about the embroidery machines. It's gonna be a little while but what Margie wants, Margie is gonna get!!

Lol, my hubby feels the same - happy wife = happy life :). I have a very old eruo-pro sewing machine that I would never give up.
Yea I'm an artsy crafty kind of person. (sounds like Mary is one too) That may be one of the reasons I like vaping so much.

Yeah...we collect old Singers. She sews doll clothes amongst other things. She has done the dresses for entire wedding parties. Amazes me really. You two would get along really well I suspect!

Thank you Ambrossia, the information is appreciated. I have a Husqvarna serger and sewing machine so the ones that are at a dealer closet by are Husqvarna/ Viking. I hope to get one later this year, but first comes a guitar for Wader. I'm looking primarily for one that can do lots of fonts/alphabets/monograms. Oops, sorry I went OT.

BAD Margie...

I've been told on the car forum I frequent that your local sign shop may be able and willing to do vinyl cutout decals for your car, while not requiring large orders to do it.

As well as laser engravers I have access to vinyl sticker cutters. I made alot of stuff for my back window of my car. Completely forgot about that until this post.
