I just recieved my first order from V4L yesterday I had ordered multiple small bottles of juice as I am still new to vaping and trying diffrent things.

Currently I am using a joye 510 from another place but I did recieve great service from V4L and my wife is thinking about trying her first ecig. I was debating if i wanted to get her the same one i have so that our parts are interchangeable but the more i read the more people seem to love the 2 piece vapor king. After having such a good buying experience from them I have thought about trying one but there are a few things that I am curious about.

With this 2 part setup I see the Cartridges are more expensive and can not be refilled nearly as many times as the ones I currently have. Also the refill process sounds harder and more time consuming.

Has anyone done a price comparison over time on the differences in price for smokers of a 2 piece style verses a 3 piece style?

I would love to hear any and everyone's thoughts on this. Regardless of my decision to get a VK or more 510's I will still be doing business with V4L as i really enjoy the flavors and service that I have received.

Hi bruced and welcome! I too started with a 510 but was getting tired of all the fiddling with it, not to mention spilling juice and overfilling. i really don't think I would have stuck with vaping as long as I have if i hadn't switched to the two piece model.
And they are very easy to refill, it's just an added step of popping off the cap. Plus the carts last so much longer than a cart you constantly have to fill.
I really don't know the cost in the difference between the two and at this point I'm just so happy to be off the cigs, it's worth it! I was spending 60 dollars a week on cigs and I [usually] don't spend that much on the V4L stuff, but there is that 'gotta try that' that gets me! ;)

Hi! :)

Yes, it is more expensive if you're not refilling and just ordering prefilled cartos. That's why I don't order prefilled anymore. I order blanks and liquid and fill and refill myself. Honestly, it's really not time-consuming or difficult once you get familiar with it. I can refill 10 cartos in less than 10 minutes, and 10 cartos lasts me 3 days or so. As for how many times cartos can be refilled, I've got some right now that are on 30+ refills. I treat them carefully by not vaping them completely dry, and I give them a good rinse and blowout periodically.

As for a price comparison with the 510, I didn't have one very long so I couldn't really give an accurate comparison, but once you factor in the cost of replacing atomizers (and they can be hit and miss), I can't see that it would be any cheaper than using cartos and refilling them. And there is NO comparison to the VK as far as the "fiddling factor". With the VK, I screw on a carto and I'm good to go for hours, but I was constantly fiddling with the 510. I couldn't stand it. lol!

I have several 510's including a 510 box mod and I find myself using my KR808 more and more. The cart life is way better then the 510 and not 1 has died in 2 months of fairly heavy use. A couple of them have been refilled maybe 15 times so far and still good. They are very easy to refill and not messy at all, also the vapor and throat hit is very good! I LOVE IT!:D

There's a bit of a learning curve to recognize when to stop and refill the cartomizers, but if you don't let them get dried out and overcook them, they can be very economical. I don't have a 510, but I do also have a setup that uses a 901 atomizer. And it vapes quite nicely, for a few puffs - then it's time to refill again. Not exactly a model of convenience. IMO, if you want something that just works, cartomizers are the way to go.
