First off I would like to say this forum is awesome and has helped me a lot with researching Ecigs!!

After much consideration I have decided to crossover into the world of vaping. I have reviewed the most popular Ecigs on the market and I think I would like to start out with the "Vapor King" because of the reviews I have read and I personally like the look of the thing. The problem is I have become confused with rather the vapor king from V4L is the same as the one from the VaporKing site and if so which one is "better" I would also like to know if they are not the same product if there accessories are interchangeable. (I.e. I like the PCC from Vaperking.com better than the one from V4L so if I buy from V4L would the VaporKing case work with my new product.) Also I am in the military and will be deploying very soon so I am concerned with how much E liquid I should by to last me around 6 months. Thanks in advance for you help.

The Vapor4living (V4L) "VaporKing" is the thing I've seen mentioned frequently. It is a KR808D-1 type 2-piece e-cigarette. The V4L product seems pretty solid, and their XL battery (longer than a normal one) has good life between recharges.

How much liquid you want depends on how much you smoke, what strength, etc. I'm new, still experimenting, probably using about 3 ml a day, plus another ml of "test" liquid (trying different flavors). As a point of reference, I was a pack a day Marlboro red smoker, and it seems pretty common for people to use 2 - 3 ml/day.

No comment on vk.com -- I just don't know their products.

Good luck, keep safe.

Thanks for your responds markfm.

I am leaning more toward V4L right now. Like you said they sound a lot more solid. I am thinking of getting the ultimate manual kit, a XL manual battery and a shorty battery just to see what the automatic batteries are like although from reading around I gather I might not like it. I am more so curious about if the case from VK.com would work with V4L

I am a 10 year pack a day smoker and I smoke Kool 100s. Anyone know around what strength E Liquid I need? Also is V4L E Liquids anygood or should I pick those up elsewhere?

Try a couple of sampler packs of cartos with the V4L --- you can pick one 5-pack with the kit, and order one or two others at the same time. Nuport is their version of a Newport, not sure if they have a Kool (don't expect anything to taste exactly the same as a regular cigarette -- it is different).

Try both a 16 - 18 and a 24. Pretty likely one of them will feel OK. (I tried 16 - 18, needed to bump up to 24 -- pretty common.)

Several companies sell a KR808D-1 under different names/labels. The vapor king is a branded KR808D-1. Vapornine, Cigeasy, Vaporkings, V4L are just some of the companies that sell the KR808D-1.

V4L probably has the largest selection of pre-filled cartomizer flavors. However, many seem to feel that they get better or stronger flavors by buying empty cartomizers, and then purchasing eliquid from companies such as Tasty Vapor, Vaporbomb, Ms. Ts Bakery, or Freedomsmokeusa. Filling your own cartomizer is easy. If the mouthpiece has a soft white cap, you can just pop that off with a toothpick or straightened paperclip, and drip eliquid into the cartomizer until the filler looks wet but not pooled on the top. Or you can use the CCFM method (google that on the forum for full instructions).

That was my brand for decades and the only liquid that ended up helping me get over them during the first month in a half was the tobacco-menthol 24mg from Americaneliquidstore. Anything lower in strength will not do the trick (I tried a few different ones).. From V4L, only liquid there that helped somewhat when I wanted a non tobacco was the high strength (36mg) cool nobacco in the 5ml bottles (bigger bottles and new prefilled are a newer version of the juice that I personally didn't care for at all)..

I would look into getting some sweets for later, if you like sweet stuff, for eventually you are going to want something other than menthol tobacco flavors too (or sour juices if that is what you prefer).. Ms. T's bakery juices are sweet, some say a little higher in price but, they are worth every cent for sweet tooth types like me.

V4L's vapor king set is the same I believe. I bought my manual kit from V4L and liked that I could alternate color choices on anything in the kit.. All still works very well and am pleased with it.. As far as case, I don't like the one at v4l, the batteries keep falling out when you open it and it isn't long enough to carry the cartomizer hooked to the battery at the same time, which one would probably prefer it did if time is an issue.. Get the lanyard so you can wear it around your neck for easy access to your ecig while on duty..

Buy blank cartomizers, prefilled ones may dry up by the time you get to them while deployed ( buy a pack of 5 blank ones per two weeks worth at least).. Average eliquid usage is 2ml per day, I would buy for 3ml per day usage just to be safe.. And I would buy extra batteries as well if I was in your situation..

Be safe on your deployment and THANK YOU for protecting all of us!!

I bought my vapor king today from V4L. Just waiting on it to arrive now. :) Thanks for all you help. Does anyone know about the case I mentioned though?

Good choice, you can not go wrong when buying a good unit from a GOOD supplier.

I have graduated on to mods, but I still buy the odd battery, and ALWAYS my blank cartomizers from V4L They ALWAYS have sales, and as said before, there customer service is second to none.

Just went to vaporking.com and I believe their units are for other purposes.
Vapor King is at vaporking.org
Vapor4Life ("home of the original vapor king") is at vapor4life.com

I want to know more too.

All I know right now is that the VK is a 3 piece and the V4L is a 2 piece.

Right now I leaning toward VK, but customer service is very important to me and V4L has - from what I have seen - great customer service.
