I read somewhere that the vaporking is at 3.7v and the passthrough is 5v. I have both and have been using them for almost 2yrs. I have been considering an ego mega 900mah. I have noticed that the megas are running 3.7. My main goal here is getting more TH (I know there are other methods of increasing TH like an actual bottle of TH which Im gonna try also). I dont notice too much of a difference with my passthrough vs the batt. What does the mah do exactly? Will I get the smae results with my Vaporking (kr808 batt) or am I waisitng my time and money trying to purchase an ego? I am reducing my nic levels and will eventually move towards no nic, but without or little TH, I cant do it. Without TH, its pointless for me to vape. I dont fell satisfied until I get really strong TH. So ego mega 3.7 volts 900mah TH = V4life vaporking 3.7/5v TH or will it be a big difference?

If you really wanna upgrade to a big batt looking for more TH. Then I HIGHLY suggest a KGO from Hoosierecigsupply and the Resurrectors from Crystal Clear Vaping. That will DEFINITELY give you the TH that you need.

Ego's are only 3.4V but, they are regulated and so, it'll be consistent all the way through. I have a couple of them and they aren't bad at all. Just like the KGO better in terms of performance.

Any 'fat' battery will allow you to try some lower ohm attys or cartos. I have the ego and use 2.0 ohm attys with it. As mentioned by washvap, the kgo and a 1.7 ohm smok tech carto (sometimes called 'the resurrector') have both been getting good reviews.

If you don't mind being tethered at times, a 5 volt pass through is a good way to check high voltage vaping. This is as good a price as I've seen on one. 5 VOLT USB PASS THROUGH (REQUIRES SUFFICIENT POWER SOURCE) If you decide to try one, be sure and pick up a 2 amp (2000 ma) usb converter for it. You can use 2.5 to 3.0 ohms atty/cartos with it. If fact, with an adapter, you could probably use the cartos you have with it.

There's also several mods for 5 volts. This thread provides some links. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...123515-where-buy-5-volt-mods.html#post1915574 Good luck and happy vaping.

I started vaping with V4L VaporKings and have since moved to eGos with the Mega dual coil cartos and an epower with a tank......I know nothing about mahs, watts, voltages, resistance....I do know I enjoy the larger batteries much more than the cig sized V4L. The vapor and taste are much better on those in my opinion. If you want scientific reasons why, someone smarter than me will have to enlighten you. I am just a simple person who knows what tastes good.

I don't know anything about that site but have you checked on shipping. It's usually above 20 dollars and takes a while. If anything is wrong you have to ship it back also. I've seen some threads where folks ordered from china and were happy though.

I don't understand about your vaporking being charged to 5 volts either but I'm not familiar with those. My understanding is that the fat batts can hold up to lr attys and cartos whereas the slim ones cannot. Of course, you have the longer times between charging also.

On any of the 3.2 to 3.7 volt regulated devices I don't recommend lower than 1.7 ohms. You can go lower and get away with it, but you're really stressing the regulator and you could have a premature failure. There's several threads here at the ecf about it.

I recommend hoosierecigsupply because I know Brent is a good vendor. (there's some other's here as well).

There should be some sales coming up for thanksgiving so you might want to keep your eye on the deals and steals thread and the vendor forum. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/85781-deals-steals-605.html

So basically a 5v passthrough will be the same as buying a kgo? I have a 5v passthrough already from vaporking and if the kgo is the same as my passthrough then whats the point? Not trying to be audacious just trying to save myself from spending extra cash when I could be using it towards something for example TH in a bottle.

It sounds like your passthrough is regulated to 3.7v.
The mAh (milli-amp hours) rating is the capacity, or the time it can be used between charges, of a battery.
