I've been using Greensmoke for over a year with no problems. After finding this forum, decided to try V4Life VaporKing. It seems to be superior to GS, but every time that I try to smoke it, I get this weird problem in the back of my throat. It's almost like my throat is swelling (though definitely it's not visually closing), it hurts and it's as though something is clogging it, although I can't say that I can detect any type of drainage or anything. Strange......I know!! LOL

I wrote to GS and asked what specifically was in there cartomizers and was told it was nic, PG and flavoring. They claim to have no VG. I also wrote to V4Life requesting the same info., but have not been able to get a response. Anyone happen to know the ingredients for V4Life cartomizers? I'm thinking it is probably one of the ingredients that is bothering me, although I also wondered if it could be because the V4Life gives a MUCH stronger hit? Would appreciate any help resolving!

Thanks for the info. That would lead me to wonder if it is the VG that is bothering me, as GS claims there is no VG in their cartomizers. Possibly I should buy some blank cartos and fill with PG only Juice. That would answer my question. If it still bothers me, then it is probably the stronger TH. If this is the case, does anyone know if I would adapt eventually? It is rather uncomfortable and feels as though my throat is clogged.

I also went from a Greensmoke to V4L..I had the same throat "closing" experience that you are describing. I was a bit scared, but decided that the flavors were better (plus I had bought a TON of stuff...) so I kept at it...now I'm used to it. Probably not what you want to hear, but I think my point is that the throat hit is WAYYYY different and stronger than Greensmoke. Maybe cut your nic down? That seems to help me sometimes if I find I'm getting too much of a hit. I hope all goes well for you...V4L products are FAR superior to Greensmoke, and not to mention, a TON cheaper. I am so thankful I found V4L!!!

Clover, yes I've stuck with GS for 1 yr.!! I think the key is that I quit smoking 6 months prior to that and was still having daily multiple cravings! So......anything was better than nothing! LOL

That1spazticchik, thanks for the encouragement! It is always good to know that someone has had a similar experience and come out the other side. I also have bought a ton of stuff from Vapor4Life and still have to keep ordering GS because I can't seem to smoke it! I agreed that V4Life seems far superior to GS, I just need to figure out this throat issue. I think maybe I will try lowering the nic level.

Thanks everyone for all the great ideas!!
