question: does the gg, only take PROtected batts? i saw UNprotected was not recommended for these, same goes for the Bolt, which was pimped on Joes @ $12! is there a reason they only say to use PRO?

2nd question: would a drip shield result in much less mess with my 510 atty?

3.

Well I bought the Pani 18650 High Drains because I plan on putting a Kick in the GG so I can adjust the watts. Also the Kick has built in protection so I wouldn't need the batts to have protection also. :)

Edit: But as long as your not being reckless and keeping an eye on your batts, atty's etc. unprotected batts should be fine.

Nothing better than getting VapeMail!! :)

Got 5 jooses--Sweet & Mild Blend, Vanilla Cupcake, Green Apple, Watermelon, Kentucky Burley & Carmel Blend. :)

Another order was some LR carto's, 2 Pani 18650's, a pretty sweet drip tip for my AGA T+, and my China GG!! God I love VapeMail days!!!
Time to charge some batts and play with my new goodies..... :D
i count 6 jooses :)

Not sure about the GG, but the bolt is a complete mechanical. No protection built in, so unprotected batteries are completely unprotected.. (most mass-produced mods are protected, so they can take unprotected batteries with relative safety.)
so only protected batts should be use, that make sense. i like the rubberized bolt, and 12 bucks is a steal. but i dont wanna have to buy more batteries :( i have 2 in the mail, and one in the lavatube. i should be set with 3. I really just need to puill the trigger on a vamo already

Yes, yes you do. Or wait for another deal - I got the vamo and 2 18350s for $50 delivered. (It arrived Saturday.) They are good for stubby/stealth mode, and epic stacked. There are 2 more on the way.

I had originally expected stubby mode to be too small (big hands) but it is really comfortable both ways. The vamo is durable but not perfect - I may have to swap mine, the board is poorly mounted and it has started to twist. (+ button starts to stick out a lot farther.) Alternately I'll just wait for someone to do a teardown on a V2 and then I'll remount it more durably..

do the 18350s fit in a trustfire 001?

Well if your getting a Vamo you want "Unprotected" Batts. :) Just sayin, you won't have much luck more than likely with protected ones as it will trip the protection and shut down. Unprotected are recommended for the Vamo. I have protected batts that will not work in mine. :(

Oh and the jooses, Kentucky Burley & Carmel blend is one joose. :) hehe

Please to be stop talking about the vamo. I hit my 2 month vape-iversary this coming weekend and I don't need to be tempted to buy myself a present.

Congrats, I hit my 2 month on march 16th, and that's why I am treating myself to one, I bought an aga tank cause I wanted to try rebuilding then I read I shouldn't do it with an ego twist, so I'm waiting till I get a mod with short protection and ohm readings. lol

Levisdaddy, if you get "Protected" batts for a mod that has protection already built in to the unit, just ensure they are High Drain IMR batts. That way they will be able to take the power demands without tripping the protection circuit. That is why if the device has protection built in like the one in question, they recommend IMR Unprotected High Drains. Hope that helps, I found out the hard way and ordered protected ones myself that weren't high drains. :)

ahh, the elusive multi-blend!!
ill prob avoid the bolt, doesnt have the best reviews. and big yellow bold rubber bolt is, well, kinda too phallic...

i feel like i torture myself as i sit at my desk and stare at my pvs next to the monitor. when the office is empty ill vape at my desk covertly, but during the day its near impossible.

lunch break time!!

I Pulled the Vamo trigger this am.. at Exhale.. along with the unprotected batts. 18350 just like Disconnect. but I ordered a battery charger elsewhere as theirs were expensive. Looks like EXhale raised the price by $2.00 but I had it in the cart for a few days at the old price and thats what I paid.

#5 My one year vapeaversary is coming up in May and I am hoping to be able to afford to buy two mods for myself and my man as a present. My birthday is next month, so maybe I'll get them early... I too torture myself with window shopping for mods. I really want one, but I'm trying to move and take a little vacation, so it may have to wait for an indeterminate amount of time. I saw an evic kit for $65 on vapor joes and almost pulled the trigger, but what I really want is a zmax.

Congrats back at you :) I've debated about rebuildables, but I currently have more money than time so I've not gone that route yet...

And in vape news: I saw my second vaper in the wild this weekend. Again, at a roller derby bout. Apparently the only peeps that vape in my region are derby people. Which makes this picture I shopped up all the more hilarious. Behold my entry into the "show us your vape face" contest!!

I like my recently acquired Vamo too. I even ordered a j-wrap for it (VERY unlike me)

Exhale is where I got mine.

Dunno on the charger (I have a nitecore i4, woot!) but they charge like any other li-ion, so you can always pick up spacers if it doesn't fit.
