I am really in a mood tonight... work related... aggressive psycho type that tells you to log into a secured site so they can compare your work duties and proceeds to go through your evaluations, vacation, and sick leave time... Well, now she's been told by an idiot supervisor that she'd get access to my departments timesheet information. I came in tonight, waited for staff changeover, and this psycho took everyone's names & informed those that I relieved that she would be checking their timesheet to make sure they are not lying about when they worked... she is not even in our department, she is low level crap-meister and in no way supervising... she just took a comment made by MY SUPERVISOR TO ME and is running with it! I sent email to MY supervisor asked WTH she was doing telling this psycho that she'd be given access to privileged information and DON'T GIVE IT TO ME because I fight to keep her out of MY SECURED information!

LOL, I don't care what you say now that's funny right there. Please lord forgive me and help the starving pigmies down in Africa. :)

Hahahahahaha! Ahhhh, that felt good =] You know, he has darned good fish fry batter! My favorite!

What time do the posts count for the next day because it is like 1:00am here

Midnight YOUR TIME is the start of a new day for posts

Lisa take a deep breath, calm down...................................................There got your breath? Now I can't say here how PO'ed I'd be if it happened to me!

Thanks, jpf880. I have dealt with psycho for the last 3 years and pretty much let her do her thing since she doesn't have any control in my department. I've just been stupidly tricked a few times when she's asked for help with some evaluation or work duty description and I've opened some accounts to show her how things were done or described and then I had to PHYSICALLY get her out of my chair because she began going through my personal data. Freak :/

Anyway, my boss... stupidly made the comment and opened a huge sinkhole to hell on this one. Less than 24 hours after the conversation and now she's in my department telling assistants that she'll be checking on them and in REALITY my boss expects ME TO DO IT - according to the email I received. Anyway, I refuse, she has a lazy-azzed assistant supervisor on days that gets paid to do this, so it will be my boss' problem to clean up. Seriously... she said it, she deals with it and if I have to deal with it, I will go to HR.

ECF edit? hehe, they edited me for using WTH with an F :p

So, what are you up to tonight and this weekend, jpf880 & Facto? I have a bunch DIY stuff coming that is not vape related, so I'll be repackaging everything this weekend. Someone was talking about their mead, so I decided to get some cider brewing. I can't handle the mead or homemade beer any longer, hell what am I saying, I made a hamburger and had a few pieces of onion that I am still paying for...

I left another department with a group of gossip-mongering piranhas, took a pay cut and went on nights to cut down on stress when I took this job. This has not been much better because I can't IGNORE these things when 1 inch gets turned into a MILE! Anyway, have to move on =] I've wasted all of my posts on this carp :/

How are you tonight, Tish?!?!?! Getting hot again here in TX :/ And Levi'sDaddy is planting a garden... hope he's got rainfall where he's at. it's been too dry to do so here without paying a $200 a month water bill. I might throw down some watermelon or cantaloupe seeds in the back brushy area where Emmy and I sometimes walk. It's doubtful that I'll get anything if they are found by wildlife or the other apartment complex members, but what the heyho... I might get 1 or 2 since I come home and walk Emmy way early!

I very much agree with this. Certain scents can and will take me instantly to another time or place. A few in particualr include stuffed cabbage. One whiff and I can literally see my great grandma's kitchen ffrom when I was 8 or so. A particualr perfume, Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers. I smell that and I swear to you I am in the break room of the grocery store where I was a stock boy, and the love interest of the most attractive cashier in the joint. Man, she was right out of a magazine. Just gorgeous. One more... there's this odd Mellon lotion I'll catch a whiff of sometimes and I am sent back to my tenth summer, sleeping on the floor of my parents bedroom, under the window AC unit because it was too hot to sleep anywhere else in the house.

Sorry about all that. Got a bit nostalgic there.

It's posts like this that makes me love this thread!

#2 Not doing too bad, Lisa. Feeling a bit low energy at the moment. I am hoping levisdaddy has success with his garden. Its already getting hot here in Tucson as well, and he doesn't live far from me. He will be racking up a nice little water bill this year I'd wager. This part of Arizona won't see any more rain until June or July. Its very dry here. And disgustingly hot from about mid to late April until October. The school I'm trying to get my daughter into has a really cute self-sustaining garden and a turtle habitat. Its a really neat charter school.

Hang in there, your energy level will rise to the occasion when needed. At least that is what I tell myself :p Again and again and again! Prolly why I am in love with Rockstar energy drinks... at my lowest ebb I use them to get me through the night... Need one now but I won't do it!

Don't remind me about the heat. Emmy wants to go outside for a walk at 7AM when I get home, 9AM, 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM :/ By 11AM I am falling asleep and at 1PM and 3PM I am super ...... at being woken up. She was crawling all over me last night at 8PM and I had to take her out. She just took flea, heartworm, and intestinal parasites pill, so she got the runs... go means GO! So I had to get up.

Great charter school! What grades? At uni level we have acres and acres of livestock breeding & vegetable, tree, plant production facilities in action. That's not to say anything is free or cheaper, it's always more expensive than the grocers... makes no sense to me. And my old Uncle used to ask, 'You ever get any of the meat from them? Does it glow in the dark like they say it does?'

#3 Its a K-12 charter. Its a pretty small school, but they have a lot of elective activities and a really neat way of approaching education. They offer music, dance, science labs, martial arts and a bunch of other cool stuff to every student. And with all the cuts in the public schools around here, that's just not something you get at every school anymore. As a person who feels strongly that the arts should be a big part of every kid's education, I have been appalled at how little they offer these culturally enriching subjects in public schools. I went to visual/performing arts magnet schools for the better part of my education and I can't imagine not affording my own child the same opportunity to expand her mind and her creative talents. My mom is a pretty talented painter and went to college on an art scholarship. I have a lot of artistic people in my family (I'd like to think I can include myself in that statement). I think we, as a society, should be alarmed that our children aren't being exposed, educated, and encouraged to pursue their artistic talents/skills.

I hope Emmy's bowel issues clear up soon. I don't imagine its much fun scooping that kind of poop. :D

That school sounds magnificent! No reason for a child to want to cut a class to get into something more exciting! Glad you found it!

As far as Emmy, I have taken her a bit out of the way on grass that borders 4 different properties. It is basically owned by the city and surrounded by 4 apartment complexes =] No scooping needed! My roomie/ex-husband always takes her there... too manly to scoop :/

I'll get her back on track this weekend and give her something special to make up for it. She'll be in a funk a few days over it, but what else to do? Do flea drops monthly and have her scratch herself to death for more money? Heartworm preventative can't be changed in any way and she has to have parasite meds because we are in a community of 100+/- dogs and I may be one of few that actually carries a baggie to pick up her mess. I know we see enough mess left behind by everyone else, that's for sure and she's got to inspect everything she sees. We actually saw 2 dogs from a complex next to us walking freely yesterday. Nice healthy looking dogs that came over while I walked Emmy, except the male lapped up her piddle! I have never owned a male to drink piddle but it is supposed to mean they are assessing the health of the neighboring dogs :/ Anyway, he'll probably be healthier for it since she's just had meds :p

Slipped away for a few hours of sleep sorry. Listening to you south westerners talk about heat, water and gardens, reminds me that water and water rights are big issues out in your neck of the woods. I think I remember hearing about Texas having a big drought for quite a spell. Guess we take it for granted up in New England all the water we get and hardly give any thought to soaking the garden every day. Humidity in the summer can suck though.. 100 degrees in Arizona is easier for me to take than 100 degrees in CT. :)

I remember a few years ago, perhaps MANY YEARS, I forget... Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia or some state had sold their water to some German company... I forget what all happened, but this company planned to build this huge water processing facility and the ground water was all contaminated from ungoverned septic systems... Anyway, I have some cousins there and they'd been down for a reunion and we were all yacking about it... Water is certainly not free and after spending a year in the tropics saving drips of water in a bowl and having to decide whether I'd cook with, wash with, or drink the 2-3 cups of saved water... I am a lot more aware =] Probably the only reason why I'd ever move to snow country... free water in melted snow! :p

Yeah, here it is, German conglomerate RWE took over Britain's Thames Water in 2000, and now wants to make American Water Works a subsidiary of Thames. Thames Water was RWE’s water division which included not only Thames Water, the largest water company in the United Kingdom, but also American Water, a U.S. based water business serving 17 million customers across 27 states as well as owning water assets around the globe. The acquisition and investment in Thames Water and American Water in 2000 and 2001 respectively was the completion of a electricity-gas-water network expansion by RWE under the direction of Herr Roel’s predecessor, Dietmar Kuhnt.

A bit later, in 2003 - German conglomerate RWE finalized its $4.6 billion takeover of West Virginia-American Water, the state's largest water company. They 'merged' and the name remained West Virginia-American Water...

Then in 2007, West Virginia-American Water officially takes over Clendenin's troubled municipal water system, and dramatic increases in water rates there lie ahead.

In 2012, Berlin’s city government voted today to acquire RWE AG (RWE)’s stake in BWB Wasserbetriebe for 618 million euros ($755 million) to raise its holding in Germany’s largest water company to 75.05 percent.

So, I guess now WV water is owned by the Berlin City Government? Sux
