Since you are making all those recipes this weekend I found you a desert in my aunts family recipe book.
Famous Amos Chocolate
Peanut Butter Cookies
2 1/4 Cups Flour
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Posder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp
salt
1 Cup Butter (or margarine) softened
3/4 Cup Peanut Butter
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
2 large Eggs
5 - 2 oz pkgs Peanut Butter Cups -
cut each cup into 8 pcs.
1 6 oz Package Chocolate Chips
Heat oven to 350 °F .
In medium bowl: Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In large bowl: Using mixer at medium speed, beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla about 3 minutes till fluffy. Add
eggs, one at a time, beat until blended.. Reduce speed to low, gradually add flour mixture till all blended. Stir in peanut butter cups and
chocolate chips till combined. Drop dough, 3 tblsp at a time (these are large cookies) onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 13 to 15 minutes
till dry in appearance and slightly firm to touch. Do not overcook. Let cool 1-2 minutes on pan, then remove to rack to cool completely.
Makes approx 2 dozen cookies.
