We got 2 freezers and a closet cleaned out in preparation for preparing to get ready to prep for a competition. Now we can pull out all the packing totes and start preparing to work up new inventory for this year. Then we can assemble everything in piles and prepare to put it in totes, where it can be counted and checked off. Wheeee.

At least tomorrow I get to cook. One of the things we found was 2 packs of chicken, already prepped for competition. (They've been frozen too long for competing, but they're fine for practice and feeding to friends. Yay lunch tomorrow!)

I've never watches Master Chef, but IIRC one of the dudes from like, the season before last was on both. Will I think he name was. He was adorable. I'd let him cook for me.

Which cooking shows do you watch, Disconnect? We watch Hell's Kitchen religiously.

We got sucked into "Worst Cooks" and that lead us to Chopped and Chef Wanted. Less about recipes, more about inspiration and neat techniques.

ETA: If you want to know how we run during a competition, watch the first 2 seasons of BBQ Pitmasters. (It's on netflix etc.) Its fun, but hectic.

WHO GOES TO DC FOR BARBEQUE SERIOUSLY JEEZE.

I'm busting your chops, lol. One of my good friends is a barbeque enthusiast.. swear to god we've been to every bbq place in savannah, GA at least once. I'd get off work on monday, roll over to his house and pick him up, we'd go find this week's barbeque place, roll back to the house in time for RASSLIN'.

I think I liked the pink pig best. they're "gullah" barbeque.
