I really do love the days when we get into topics like "Straight Man vs...." intersperced with other topics! Reminds me of Abbot and Costello's Who's On First?.... Third Base!

Goood mornz everyone, well, afternoon now! I am still reading thru the posts. will be back soon once i am caught up.

LOL, great. It's all about the vapor for me. "If a juice, vapor can't produce, it's not worth the use." Just sayin.
The first time I had it I blew a smoke ring that traveled all the way to my TV and hit the screen, over 8' away, with a ceiling fan on. Thickest vapor I've Ever seen.
And how may i get vapor that epic!!!?

Sometimes I miss my partying days, getting wild and being in a band and all that s**t, but we all gotta be a little responsible at some point. God, I sound old. When did I get so geriatric? I'm soo boring, I swear. I need to get a new band or something. I record some solos/collabs at my house, but its just not the same thing. I miss the dynamic. I gotta quit waxing sentimental.

Tish, we share the same sentiment/perspective. i have been clean for a long time, i had the extreme privilege of going through an ibogaine quest which changed my life. and while i do miss my rage days and the lack of responsibility (personal and societal) i now have a new found lease on life which allocated for me to have a family and find happiness, which, granted, at times can be boring and requires a level of patience. i am still able to pursue my passions, electronic music and dancing, and can do it right, even quasi-profitably :)
I would love to get you and the Mr out to one of my shows! :)

The mouse command is actually set to Ctl-R, so it's useful across the board: it refreshes when I'm in a browser, replies to a message when I'm in Outlook, and fills formatting when I'm in Excel.

That's a useful macro...excuse me while I steal your idea...

Joose bought! I ordered my faves in some higher nic, ordered the corresponding flavor concentrates, and some vg to dilute it all down. That's about all the DIY I can handle during derby season... I also ordered some cotton candy and extreme ice flavoring to sweeten up and/or chill out some of the juices I already have. Plus I ordered 2 new-to-me flavors: pineapple upside down cake and double apple.

TIME TO STALK THE MAILMAN!

That's a useful macro...excuse me while I steal your idea...

Some people call it laziness. I prefer the term "time efficient" :D Along those lines I'm a key command junky and it took me about a month to use the mouse shortcut rather than Ctl-R on the keyboard. I can key through windows and tabs faster than most people can mouse...

almost caught up, so close!
@ "RiverRat" & "Lisa" - Your conversation about acid reflux, including the reason for taking certain Medications . . . Well as someone that also has GERD - let's just say, sleeping on an incline (I sleep with 6 Pillows) not good enough - nor is the lesser "Prilosec" or other generics . . . Only NEXIUM & Zantac (300 mg), including a lot of Tums is a must at times, especially when I get an "attack" . . . NOT GOOD - IMO - Feels like it is worse then having a Heart Attack, since you can't die like you want to when it happens . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I too have GERD. Since i was 14!! I have been on prilosec, nexium, aciphex, prevacid and 2 or 3 other prescription gerd meds. nexium was the best, the aciphex i have now only works 2/3 of the time. combined with 20mg famotidine, and 1000mg tums on a daily basis it is still not under control. this is the cause of most of my insomnia though out the years.

CPAP? I though that was the balloon tube in your lungs to help you breathe?
[quick wiki search]
and i was wrong: Continuous positive airway pressure - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
i could see this being helpful.
the gerd in my case is caused by holes in my esophagus due to aa incident when i was 14....
_________
congrats on your juice order!! i am trying to reduce my juice levels and finish off some near empty bottles, which i then send to mr. glassman :)
there are a lot more vendor juices i am dying to try, fuzion being at the top of the list (the prices turn me away, and the reviews bring me back). Glassman's and Tish's DIY could keep me set, and i need to set up another exchange :)
_________
JP, hows the misses today!?
_________
Orobas, thank you for the F5 gif, all these years i had no idea that was a refresh quickkey!! that will come in handy, as cnrl+r is so time consuming!!

Chit Chat . . .

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Woudn't that depend on it's size?:p

DAMN - You Stole "My" Responce, although I was going to say to "Factor" - that it all depends on the size of the WOOD "You" had . . . ;)

I know - I know - "MY" BAD . . .

LOVE you guys!!

I thinnk most of "Us" feel the same way about the majority of people that stop in here on a regular bases . . . :D

Oh YEA - Really Good Smiley there . . .:thumb:

@ "LD" & "akatina" - I won't go through the list of all "My" diagnoses, nor problems - AND, Even though I also have "Sleep Apena" (along with all "My" other breathing problems) it is not the cause of GERD for "Me" . . . Actually, "We" don't know what the cause is yet - had it for over 20 years and it is exasperated by certain foods, alcohol, and anxiety . . . The funny thing is it is not affected by caffine, especially coffee . . . :D

its not enticing to an employer. it doesnt make the candidate look good to bring a kid with them, the thought being, if he/she couldnt get a baby sitter or child care to come to this interview, then how will they when they are working. employers usually like family oriented people thou, as they are sometimes more responsible.
& thank you!!
