I would go to the waterfront too..Oh wait I can go to the waterfront (way not the same ocean)..but still a waterfront.. Well then, I think I will do that later today, go for a ride by the Ocean, it's a little cloudy, but nice weather wise.

We love Charles up here in Cleveland! Dude is a legend.

Local news affiliate went and dug some dirt up on him... some domestic violence thing, and no one cares! He rescued that little pretty white girl! And we love him for it!

Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus are, and have been for the last 9 years, household names here. Everyone around here knew who they were and what they looked like. Most folks figured they were gone. It was hard to visit any where near their neighborhood without seeing Missing posters tacked to telephone poles... even this long after they went missing. Their families would keep putting up and handing out those fliers. At least twice a year we'd hear another news story about how some new tip would pop up and for a few days, the city would hold their collective breath waiting to find out if their stories finally had closure. Obviously, none of them panned out and we'd all go back to wondering just what happened to these girls.

This entire city was all smiles and on cloud nine Monday night. As a former steel town struggling to find it's identity... this news... this GOOD NEWS has been truly uplifting for the city and its people.

Personally, I have been REALLY impressed with how the CPD has been handling all the attention... not just nationally, but on a world stage. They are doing absolutely everything by the book. It's not often I am proud to be from Cleveland... but the way our civic leaders are handling this and representing the city... I sure as hell am this week.

I know a guy who was at an airport in Florida, getting ready to fly home, when the news broke. He was sitting in a bar watching the news when he over heard another guy at the bar say "Thank god this happened in Cleveland. Where neighbors are still neighbors. If that was my neighborhood, those girls would still be locked up in that house."
