beautiful!! and how does it hit/vape?

4) Oh yeah, I'm supposed to vape with this thing. Ha! I don't know just yet. I'm checking the threads and looking to see if it needs Noalox. After that, I'm going to use an 18650 with a Kick. I probably should try it with a straight 18650 and a low-resistance atty just to see what native output is like.

report back!!
if you use a standard 650, does it need to be a protected battery?

i get confused on the PRO and UN -tected batts.
the ones i have are UN for my vamo

5) Right now I'm using Panasonic Li-Ion batteries. Generally, I use unprotected batteries in VV/VW mods and mechanicals with a Kick. I'm running a mechanical straight up, I use a protected battery. There are some that argue that IMR batteries should be used with mechanicals and the protected batteries limit performance for super low-resistance coils. That said, I haven't blown myself up yet and I don't use anything lower than 1.5 ohms.

That might be your time schnarph... it's not even 11 pm here..... Good night all
Yes, I do live in the Central time zone, in Texas, same as RayN. VVV contests always end on Friday at midnight, Central time. I don't know how Ray can be sure about contestants locations, or any other contest organizer for that matter. I guess when he gets the winner's address for shipping he would find out for sure.

OK, I'm out now. For real. Meet you all back here for coffee in a few hours?
