Livid.

Just got an email from corporate about how they are working on a new tobacco use policy. The email contained the following line:

Furthermore, since e-cigarettes are not FDA-approved cessation devices, employees using e-cigarettes are still considered
smokers.

My blood is boiling.

Even with these things... quitting smoking isn't easy. And in one thoughtless line in a faceless email, they have reduced everything I have worked for over the last 8 months to nothing. NOTHING!

They go on to suggest that smokers and e-cigarette users are encouraged to use NRT products the FDA has deemed safe and effective, like lozenges and patches and gum and Chantix. And we all know just how safe and effective those products are.

This is ridiculously unfounded.

Glad to see "Lisa" liking post, especially since that probably means she wasn't affected by the "Tornados" that went through Texas last night . . . Hope all "Our" Other VVV Friends in Texas and "Ray" were not affected too . . . :)

Okay - time now for COFFEE and A Read . . .

Well - Not that this will make "You" feel any better - however, this just might be the opportunity for you to educate them about "eCigs' and how "You" stopped smoking cigarettes using them . . . It might help . . . Just Sayin' . . .;)

Not to complain, but i had a miserable night/morning. When i picked Levi up from daycare yesterday after work he was running a 100-101 fever. he was inconsolable and in pain. i got a bout 2 hours or less sleep this morning. last night, leaving wifey with the boy i retired to sleep on the couch at about 630 this morning. woke up 30 min after i was supposed to be at work. i have a killer headache and am on the verge of passing out face first on my keyboard.

Power down a whole bunch of water (at least 24 oz), then step into the bathroom and do a mini meditation for a 5 minutes. Just have a "seat" and try to think of nothing - just blackness. If thoughts creep in, don't panic, just gently push them aside and go back to thinking of nothing. Give it a whirl - it can make the next several hours tolerable.
