Is this the same with regular ego batts? I haven't done the VV thing yet....

Yes, Absolutly!

All you really need besides your battery is an atomizer, some juice, and a drip tip (the drip tip is actually optional if you don't mind burning your lips!)

Your eGo C Twist has a sealed positive post in the battery and a good deep well, so any leakage from flooding will collect there and you simply mop it out with a paper napkin or Q-tip.

And until you get used to dripping you WILL flood the atty a few times, but you'll get used to it pretty quick.

You can use any standard 510 drip tip with these attys. However, some fit pretty tight. This is a good thing
Simply put a tiny bit of juice on the O-Ring on the drip tip, and just around the inside of the open top of the atty for a touch of lubrication and the drip tip should pop right in with a little push and a twist.

I advise breaking in these attys slowly over a couple of days for the best long term performance.
Fresh out of the bag, I put about 8 drops from a standard 10ml dripper bottle (maybe 10-12 if it's one of those needle bottles that make tiny drops) right on top of the mesh, and let it sit for a few seconds to wick down to the coil. The thicker your juice (More VG) the longer this will take, but never more than 15 or 20 seconds.

Set your eGo C Twist to 3.4 volts or so and vape!
You'll probably get that 1st raspy throat hit at about the 3rd or 4th drag. Add another 4 or 5 drops.
Next time add 3 or 4 drops... You'll notice that you'll start to get more puffs between the need to add drops as the atty settles in.

After that 3 or 4 drops each time you need to drip should be about right.
If juice starts to leak around the connection, or you hear it gurgle, you're dripping a little too much.

Clean it up and vape away the excess and decrease your dripping by 1 drop.

After a while you can increase the voltage by 1 click and test, until you hit your sweet spot.
At the 1st sign of a burnt flavor back off the voltage a click or 2 so you don't scorch the coil.

Just remember, while you don't want it flooding your precious juice away, you have to keep the coil wet.
In no time you'll know when to add more drops.

Let us know how it works out for you!!

IF you like it, but can't get it to stop flooding and leaking, we'll talk about how to use a drip shield. That's the absolute fix for flooding/leaking, but try to learn to drip with just the atty and drip tip first. Once you master that you'll be glad you did!

Yes!
Remember back on the 1st page of this thread where I showed that we had matching color L-Rider Mini 450 mAh eGo batteries. We've all been dripping these attys on those and they're great. Just the thing to drop in your pocket with a small bottle of juice for stealth vaping at a restaurant or bar!
:toast:

However, up till now we've been talking about variable voltage devices where you can turn the voltage down.

Your 3.7 volt eGo (regardless of mAh) is 4.1 to 4.2 volts fresh off the charger.
Actually, this is true for all your batteries unless their old and worn out...

That's a bit much for this atomizer until it's had time to break in.
My advice is to break it in with an eGo battery that you've used for a couple of hours so the voltage has had time to drop off it's peak.

Do this and follow all the other stuff I've posted and you'll get a GREAT vape!
Remember, Keep it WET!

I got mine today :)

So tried it on Twist and on Reo.Will review on both devices .

Twist: Works very well on the Twist! I like the design and has slightly tighter draw than Joye atty on a Twist and works just as it should :) Didnt get any leaking but as stated by VV James a new user might who hasnt dripped before but for me no issues.Great price and works really well.

Reo: Now on the Reo the draw tightens a lot more but some may like that.I use RDAs so it might just be due to that reason that draw is little tight for me but worked well and feed fine .So for Reo users it would be a good cheap back up or good for those that like tighter draw :)

Over all it worked great and didnt give me any issues and the price is great too.If you use Twists or spinners or standard egos this would be excellent atty to have for your set ups .I will try it on friends Vamo too and report back how it works on it in few days.

Thanks again VV for letting me try it out and review it for you :) :thumb:

Thanks for the review Vash, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
But I really do want honest reviews (which I'm SURE your's was!) when I send something out like this.

We do a lot of in-house product testing before we purchase inventory to sell.
Of course, when you're testing samples the manufacturers always make sure you only get the cream of the crop
So we also do a lot more in-house product testing on the production shipments before we ever post a product for sale!

I sometimes randomly send out a sample in return for a commitment to do an honest PUBLIC review, because I'm that confident in the product :D

Again, Thanks for your honest opinion, and enjoy! :vapor:

Awesome! Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the advice!

You're very welcome!
I'm always happy to help out when and where I can, even if the question is about something that we don't sell.

I'm looking forward to the day when I honestly can't remember driving by a hospital and seeing someone standing outside in the weather in a hospital gown with an I.V. pole in 1 hand and a cigarette in the other!

But that day isn't today, and until it comes I'm totally committed to doing what I can to make it happen!

Our Drip shields are a great accompaniment to your L-Rider LR 510 atomizers

901 drip shield.jpg

11 different colors!
There are many benefits to using a Drip Shield on your 510 (with a 510-510 adapter), including preventing leaks, a tighter draw, and a cooler atomizer.

 Yes, I know that every single one of the Drip Shields in the photo above are upside down!
The hole goes at the top (sigh)
LOL!!

awesome!!!!!!!

Took about 5 of these with the matching mini batteries and a small bottle of juice for each one out to a local club for lunch.
Met some smokers, and a couple of vapers, got them to try them out with various flavors.
I passed out several business cards.
It was a HUGE hit!

I use an EVOD and I also have a kanger esmart 808. Id love to try these out. Im a relative newbie, but I would give an honest review..

Quite possibly the best performing 510 Atomizer on the market today!
In 18 Vibrant colors.

$5.00

The initial evaluation batch impressed us so much that we had these made to
our precise specifications!

These are a world exclusive ONLY to be found at ValueVapor.com!

We had them print the L-Rider logo on the side and LR (for Low Resistance)
on the reverse providing full confidence that these are genuine L-Rider Atomizers.

We're proud to carry such a fine product and glad to help promote the great work done by the fantastic team at L-Rider.

These 510 atomizers have better flavor, throat hit, vapor production, and
simply perform better than:

Bauways
SLBs
JoyeTech
Better Life

And those are brands we ALSO currently carry!

If you're a dripper it simply doesn't get any better than this. The 1.5 oHm
L-Rider LR atty on a 3.7 volt battery hits like a truck!

For almost 4 years I always removed the bridge and the bridge mesh from
every atomizer I purchased and dripped directly on the bare coil.
I did this because I hate the taste of filler material, and because bare
coil dripping improved performance across the board.

These L-Rider 510 atomizers are the 1st and only atty I've ever found that I PREFER to
vape straight out of the package.

ZERO modification and they STILL perform better than bare coil dripping!
Better than the so called 3 or 4 hole dripping attys.
Better than 901s, 801s, and 306s!

They don't have any of those wicking fibers under the bridge, so no burnt
taste! AND they have a ring (washer) around the base of the bridge that
seems to funnel the juice into the ceramic cup, so no more juice running
down the inside of the chimney and missing the coil.

Of course, when dripping any atomizer you have to keep it wet or the coil
will pop on you.

It will probably take 8 drops or so to load the stainless steel mesh up the
first time you drip a new one.

The L-Rider attys are not as leaky as other 510 atomizers either. Though
they WILL flood if you drip too much...

A 510 to 510 adapter and a drip shield makes that a non issue, for any 510
atty, by the way!!
