Hey everybody, I've been reading this forum for years but this is the first time I'm writing something..
I have a problem with my VAMO and new batteries 18650.
I've been using for months 2 stacked 18350 and now I bought a couple of these 18650 to try them out. Unfortunately something is wrong...with the previous setup I can vape at 8w watts and I get a great vape, going higher is too strong for me. With just one 18650 the vape is very very weak, and I need to push it up to 14watts to get a close to decent vape. I was wondering if any of you had this problem before.
The batteries are all indicating 4.2 when fully charged, and I'm vaping with aga-t2 with ceramic wick at 1.5ohms.
the batteries are unprotected

Hope somebody can help me

loveyou

What version of Vamo

V3 (brand new models [aka generation 2] older models are RMS only), or V5, do you have RMS mode on vs the Mean mode

Hit and hold left button (the - button) for 10 seconds, if it shows NO1, release, then hit it and hold it again till it shows NO2, that is RMS mode...try it at 8 watts again..it should be good to go then

my vamo was always on n02 since a few months, I never put it in RMS mode. I cheched several times too and that it's not the problem.
I did some more testing, also considering variable voltage
so for a test I set the vamo to 3.8 volts and I got this results

2x18350 great vape
1x18350 in short mode: still a good vape, maybe a little less strenght than the 2 batt stacked
1x18650 no crackling noise, very very very little vapor...

I tried with 2 different batteries new that I got and one from a friend (this one ultrafire I think), still same result. It's very weird. I don't understand what's wrong. Could it be a difference between flat top (on the 18350) and the button top 18650?

Yep it should be on rms mode otherwise your vamo will be so hot thanks
