Vamo #2

I just received my second Vamo from smoktek. They are awesome, their service is very responsive by the way! I do recommend.(That's for a different forum though)

I haven't had any of the normal color or scratching issues others have complained about with the gun metal (Just luck? I don't know It goes with me, it gets use, no problems yet other than replacing the center post ring and finger prints...) I do keep it in a felt bag when not in use quite a bit...

Does the Chrome have any of the same reported scratching issues, in your opinions?? (My new backup Vamo is Chrome)

I've had no problems with my V1 chrome vamo, works great and chrome finish is perfect. Some are harder then others with their devices. If you take reasonable care you will have no problems with the chrome finish.

i've had no problems with my gun metal vamo...and it gets a lot of abuse glad to hear smoktek treated you right --- you might want to post about smoktek in the "reviews of suppliers - positive" forum, too. Rob's a fair and upfront vendor

The only problem with the finish on my chrome is that it gets really slick (fingerprints, juice, etc.) I threw some cheap shelf paper around it (template in a different thread, easy to cut out) and solved it, although it hides the chrome.
