Hey..hi
Just wanted to say I owned a natural. For a total of two days before I dumped it and bought an EA.
I know the EA isn't cheap. But let me tell you why I hated the natural.
Its great in 18350 mode. Not terrible in 18650 mode. But in 18490/18500 mode? It was terrible. The tubes that come with it don't fit like they should with the 18500. The threads just had enough to catch and left threads showing. The exposed edges were sharp. And it just looked like a pieced together POS in that configuration. They try to sell you on this nice looking sleek device but it only works that way in 2 out of the 3 configurations. It still functioned great bit just looked really bad that way. Just try to find a review video or even a picture with in 18500 mode WITH a battery in it. You wont. They're hiding the fact it doesn't work like they say...or maybe I should say "look" like they say in all configurations
Just a little heads up from someone who owned one
You are absolutely correct, except it was mis-advertised... It actually will take an 18490/500, but in 18650 mode with a kick. Most of the vendors out there have that corrected in the descriptions now. Most of us vets knew this prior to it hitting the market because we did our research on it and there were a few vendors that had the correct information. Even the people that received them for testing posted YouTube video's say exactly that they wouldn't fit... It happens... It's China... Language barrier... Although you can go to GotVapes and buy the extension sleeve to use the 18490/500 battery now, (though I think its out of stock at the moment)... If you bought it to use in 18490/500 mode then you obviously didn't do your research quite well enough i'm afraid... Not surprising, you being a newbie and all... Just remember that if you jump on the band wagon when a device is released, (because you have to have it before everyone else), you have no one but yourself to blame if it is not as advertised on something that comes out of China!!! Hope your enjoying your EA mod BTW, it's been interesting to see the performance numbers, (voltage drop), that are in some posts here on the forum... It's a good looking overpriced device that is turning in some so-so numbers... Not any better than my Natural is putting out right now with the minor modifications I had to do to it... I'm very pleased with my $50 device... How much did that EA cost you?
China has been making mistakes for quite some time now... It is part of the culture we live in today... Ie...how many VV devices came out of China and were advertised as being capable of handling a 3amp+ load and actually didn't? Some were advertised as being able to handle 4amp loads and couldn't!!! It's all about research when looking for a new device... I won't even get into the fiasco about the whole VV/VW thing... It still amazes me how many people purchased multiple versions of a device, that still to this day are all failures...
