NO problem at all, I actually asked the same thing myself a few days ago, just forwarding the knowledge:toast:

Hey another question I don't have a multimeter... I know I know don't say it....
So anyways I've removed the 3 switches on the board.
I have soldered the 2 left post of the "-" button. The 2 right post of the "+" button. And the bottom left and right post of the fire button. This is what I gathered from your previous post is this correct....
And I know epic fail with no multimeter... I've somehow misplaced it...

I did the same, BUT I tapped into the fire button on the left side posts. {when looking at the front of the chip} -This worked for me!

That's exactly what I did, but I'm not sure, but I find it hard to believe that I got lucky and picked the perfect contacts, so I would imagine you should be fine. Test it out, hold a wire to the negative and positive sides of your batter and solder to the black wire and brass positive post respectively and test the buttons, that's how I made sure mine worked

Well it didnt work lol quickly remedied it though. But had the wrong switches I had (n.c) switches.
Got some (n.o.) switches today works great also the styles I got this time I like a lot better. So it ended up being better in the end. Now to run to the radioshack across town for an enclosure, as the one near me was out of the size I needed.
(I'm not a carpenter and had to throw away the wood idea... :sigh: )

Let us know how it goes! Mine's been great so far. I cape on my mech primarily if I'm just lounging around the house but mostly anymore its the vamo. A single 18650 easily last me 1 1/2 days! I didn't expect this kind of battery life and couldn't be more pleased.
