The threads on my vamo are pretty much done for so I am hoping to replace them. I have seen a post where someone used a ego-510 adaptor and then machined a washer to the bottom of it to fit in the top cap, unfortunately I don't have the resources to do that. I also saw a uk shop which sells the top cap with the connector but from the uk it just isn't feasible with shipping to replace the top cap (may as well just get a new device). So my question is is there any vendors who sell either the top cap or the connector. Or is there a specific adaptor which could be used in place of the connector without modification?

1. I haven't seen a top cap selling in the US or Canada and it is a pretty involved process to replace it.

2. If your delivery systems are all 510 connections, the best workaround would be to get an airflow controller and use threadlock to secure it to your damaged threads. Just screw your tanks and such into that. I've heard they work well.

3. My recommendation would be to get something like a protank mini with EGO threading which works like a charm on my vamo. Much more secure and works better than the protank anyway.

This may work...however it will cause your tank to sit way up (about 1/4 to high...think of it as a 510 extender)

This might make things look nicer (screws onto the outer threads [the eGo threads], the 510 screws in but still has a female 510 port on top)
