Hello all. The boss is requesting new batteries for her current setup. EGO, she wants some of the "EGO twists"...which got me to thinking. FOr nearly the same $ I could get a VAMO...BUT here's the question.

Will this
Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, Flat Tip

Fit a VAMO w/o an adapter? She uses those exclusively (I tried to get her over to the Nova...and it was a No Go) *insert chuckle here.

I searched and I looked at the pics thread for 50+ pages...and...I'm tired of searching...so thought I'd just ask. (not to mention she's tired of waiting on me researching, and ready for more batteries...)

Thanks in advance

anything 510 will fit the vamo. You may need to buy an adapter for things like the bottom coil kanger T3 or evod but, anything that is specifically 510 connection shall fit thy vamo proudly. Make sure u ask her what she'd be comfy with for length. the vamo is looong.

Yeah I sent her a comparison picture I found on here to make sure of that. I bet she'd have issues w/ the length of it in full configuration, but possibly okay with single 18350 config. I could be wrong though...It wouldn't be a first.

The reason I ask about fitment is some say that larger diameter things that are meant for EGOs don't fit inside the "well" (if that's the correct term) of the VAMO...I know the threads are fine.

I guess the best thing to ask if nobody has personal experience with this combo is if anyone knows the internal diameter of the hole in the top of the VAMO?

I know for a fact the metal version of those mega cartos fit perfect on a Vamo, but the clear plastic version uses slightly thicker material (since the plastic is weaker, they make it thicker) so I'm not sure if those would fit.

But you could just get the metal ones and be assured they fit, or get the clear one and take the risk.

I just wanted to say what a caring spouse you must be for your wife to have a joined a forum and make numerous posts and research for an activity you don't participate in. Well done man, carry on.

She is really the boss

Gary, thanks for the kind words, but you're giving me way too much credit. DaxFX nailed it. LOL

I'm just a nerd, I have to know as much about everything pertinent as possible....I consider it a disease. "know it all disease" :p I'm also allergic to cigarette smoke...and really liked her...so figured out a win/win. She's been cig free for over 3 yrs. Couldn't be more proud.

I am also a researching nut . I consider myself to have a PHD in useless information. When anyone in the family has some issue that needs researched they turn in over to dad to get the info and reduce it down to cliff notes for them.

I am that guy too (except not a dad) Lawn advise, electronics advise, car advise, you name it, I am the "expert"
